Plumbing contractors · Local SEO

The map result ten minutes away wins the emergency.

Local SEO for a plumbing contractor decides who shows up when a flat owner searches with water on the floor. GullySales sets the service areas the van can genuinely reach, puts your licence on the profile, and tracks the position locality by locality.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For plumbing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Distance beats everything else in an emergency search”

A customer in Yelahanka will not wait for a contractor in Jayanagar, whatever your reviews happen to say about you.

  • “Open now decides the ten o'clock call”

If the profile says closed, the call goes to whoever says open, even though your phone was on and somebody would have answered.

  • “The licence on the profile answers the harvesting caller”

Somebody arranging rainwater harvesting needs a licensed plumber, and that question is settled on the listing before they dial.

What we do

What we deliver for plumbing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Service areas set to what the van can reach

The localities your team genuinely covers, with the travel time you promise, instead of the whole city listed hopefully.

Result: Calls come from places you can serve.

  2. Hours that match who actually answers

Opening hours, late hours and Sunday availability set to the truth, so an emergency search finds a contractor who picks up.

Result: You stop losing the late call to a listing.

  3. Job photographs added to the profile regularly

Concealed lines before tiling, a repaired shaft, a finished bathroom and a harvesting pit, posted through the year rather than once.

Result: The listing looks like a working contractor.

  4. Licence and registration shown on the listing

The BWSSB licence and your registrations posted on the profile and in the answers, where a compliance-driven customer looks first.

Result: The licence question never reaches the phone.

  5. A page for each locality you really work in

Areas named with the buildings and the kind of plumbing you do there, rather than a list of every ward in the city.

Result: Each locality page has something true on it.

  6. Position tracked locality by locality

Where you appear on Maps from points across your service area, checked on the ground rather than assumed from the office desk.

Result: You see which areas you are missing from.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How a household with a leak finds a plumber nearby, and what to fix first.

Primary category
Plumber is the usual primary. Add secondaries only for jobs you take, such as water tank cleaning or bathroom remodelling contractor. Choose by the work you want, not by the category that looks more popular.
Services named as jobs
Write the jobs as customers say them: leakage repair, concealed pipe repair, CPVC and UPVC repiping, overhead tank connection, pump fitting, bathroom fittings. A call for one of them then finds a matching line.
Hours against the phone
Show open 24 hours only if someone answers at night. A caller who rings an open listing at ten at night and gets no answer will not try again, and the unanswered calls are noticed.
Justdial and Sulekha numbers
These can show a different number from your own. Know which number each directory shows, make sure someone answers all of them, and match the name and area to the Google profile.
Job photographs with the locality
Add photographs of tank connections, pump rooms and exposed pipework, with the locality in the caption. A photograph of a repair done on the next street is a stronger reason to call.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We have no shop. Can we still be on Maps?
Yes, as a service area business with the address hidden. A residential pin on a listing gets read as a one-man operation. Set the areas you travel to and keep the address off it.
Should we list every area in Bengaluru?
No. Claiming the whole city brings calls you cannot reach and reviews about being late. List the localities you can get to inside the time you promise, and add more when the team grows.
A customer reviewed us for a job a different plumber did. What now?
Reply politely that you cannot find the job under that name and number and ask them to call. Do not argue. If the review is clearly about another business, report it through the platform and check its current rules on what is removed.
Should we list a shop name or our own name?
Use the name on your signboard, visiting card and invoices, the same in every directory. Do not add areas or keywords to the name, since the platform may reject it. Put the localities in the service area and the description instead.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
