Tree service companies · Lead generation

Fill February from the estimates nobody ever chased.

Lead generation for a tree service is a steady arrival of homeowners, boards and property managers asking for a price, rather than whatever the weather sends. GullySales works the estimates you already wrote, the street your crane was parked on, and the accounts that renew on a date.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For tree service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Shared leads go to four companies at once”

A lead bought from a home services app is sold to whoever else paid for it, so you end up bidding against the uninsured crew again.

  • “The neighbour who came out to watch is a lead”

Three people on that street mentioned their own trees while the chipper was running, and none of it ever left the foreman's head.

  • “Not this year is a date, not a no”

A homeowner waiting on money still owns a dead oak, and a call in January reaches them before the first storm does.

What we do

What we deliver for tree service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An estimate log with a chase date on every line

Every estimate recorded with the tree, the price, who decides and when it will be called about, instead of a pad left in the truck.

Result: Nobody gets one call and is then forgotten.

  2. A note for the houses either side of a job

A printed card and a short message for the neighbours who watched the crane, left the same day while the crew is still on the street.

Result: The street that saw the work knows who to call.

  3. A not this year list worked before the season

Everybody who said the money was not there, kept on one list with the tree and the month, contacted ahead of storm season rather than never.

Result: Deferred removals come back to you instead of going elsewhere.

  4. A first-contact routine that captures the tree

Address, species if they know it, a photograph and whether anything is touching the house, taken by whoever answers the phone or the form.

Result: You can price or decline before sending a truck out.

  5. An HOA and property manager list with renewal months

Boards, management companies and commercial properties in your radius, with who signs, what they spend and the month each contract comes up.

Result: You are asked to bid rather than hearing about it afterwards.

  6. Source recorded against every job won

Where each booked job came from, kept next to its value and reported against the baseline taken before the work started.

Result: You stop guessing which channel paid for itself.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

Where a tree job starts, and what the first call has to capture before an estimator is sent.

A homeowner calling about one tree
Record the address, the tree and its height if known, and what it is near: the house, a driveway, a power line. Ask for a photograph by text before booking the visit.
A home services app lead
Tag the app and the price paid. These leads go to several companies, so call straight away, ask for a photo and book the estimate on the call.
An HOA board or property manager
Write down the community, the board contact, the meeting date and the month the contract renews. Boards decide at meetings, so the follow-up falls before the next one.
A neighbour of a finished job
Record the old job address and the new one. The houses either side of a job crew have watched the work, so note what they said and ask the first customer for a word.
A not this year estimate
Keep the old estimate, the date and the reason given. Put the call date in before the next season so the customer hears from you before a competitor knocks.
A landscaper, roofer or insurance adjuster
Log who sent the job and what was said. Tradesmen refer when they trust the crew on their client's property, so thank each one after the job closes.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Are the home services app leads worth buying?
For filling a slow week, sometimes. As a main source, no. The same enquiry goes to several companies, so you are competing on speed and price in the first ten minutes. Work out what a job from that source actually costs you before renewing.
We are booked solid after a storm. Why chase leads then?
Because storm week work is all removal, and it ends when the weather does. The pruning, cabling and health care enquiries that arrive in the same days are what carries you into the quiet months. Write them down while the phone is loud.
What counts as a qualified tree service lead?
A property owner or someone who can authorise, a tree on that owner's land, an address in your service area, and a job you take. Log the others, answer them politely, and keep them out of your estimate pipeline.
A neighbour calls about the tree on the next property. Whose lead is it?
Record both people. The tree's owner authorises the work, so ask the caller to put you in touch. Do not quote or enter a property without the owner's agreement, and note whether the neighbour is paying or only asking.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
