Tree service companies · Digital marketing

Spend with the weather and the calendar, not in twelve equal months.

Digital marketing for a tree service is the plan deciding what runs in storm season, what runs in the empty weeks and what is left alone. GullySales sets the budget against your own slow months and keeps the commercial side moving when the homeowner phone goes quiet.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For tree service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Half your revenue never touches a digital channel”

Boards, property managers and builders come through a list and a phone call, so the website's job there is to look like a real company when somebody checks.

  • “The empty month is the one to plan for”

February pays for itself only when the dormant pruning and the inspection work were advertised in January, while everybody else waits for the next storm.

  • “One afternoon of photographs feeds the whole year”

A single crane removal shot properly becomes profile pictures, advert images, a neighbourhood post and the cover of every estimate that leaves the office.

What we do

What we deliver for tree service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A twelve-month plan keyed to your own slow weeks

What runs in each month, decided from your invoice history rather than a generic seasonal calendar, with the storm budget held back in reserve.

Result: Money goes out when the calendar needs filling.

  2. One photography routine for the crews

A standing instruction on what to shoot at every job, who uploads it and where it lands, so the work photographs itself without a hired photographer.

Result: Marketing stops waiting for pictures that never come.

  3. Website pages that match what you actually sell

Removal, pruning, stump grinding, plant health care, commercial and HOA work each given a page, with the insurance and credential line on all of them.

Result: A property manager checking you finds the commercial page.

  4. Search, maps and neighbourhood groups pulling together

The same towns, photographs and wording across the site, the Business Profile and the local groups, rather than three efforts that contradict each other.

Result: A homeowner sees one company wherever they look.

  5. The commercial side kept moving in the busy weeks

Outreach to boards, managers and builders continued on schedule when the residential phone is loud, because those contracts run on their own calendar.

Result: Storm season stops interrupting the contract pipeline.

  6. A single report across every channel

Enquiries, estimates and signed jobs by source on one page, set against the baseline recorded before anything was switched on.

Result: You read one page instead of four dashboards.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for tree services

Show proof of insurance and finished work before you quote, then build the commercial list.

A Business Profile with job photographs
Claim the profile, add before-and-after pictures of removals and pruning, and list the areas you work. Record each call that mentions the map.
Insurance and credentials on the site
Show your cover, certificate holder details and any arborist credentials, kept current. Buyers weigh you against uninsured operators before price.
An estimate sheet with a call-back date
Enter each estimate with the trees quoted, date and call-back date. Note the reason when a quote is lost.
A property manager and HOA list
Write the managers, boards and municipalities you could serve, with the last contact. Offer an inspection of common-area trees and record the replies.
Neighbourhood group posts
Post finished jobs in local neighbourhood groups with the owner's permission, naming the street area. Count enquiries that mention a post.
What to leave until later
Paid social and billboard-style advertising can wait. Crews on the street and a good profile bring the first calls.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We get all our work from storms and word of mouth. Why plan anything?
Because a mild year has no storms in it, and word of mouth does not fill a February. A plan mostly decides what happens in the weeks the phone is not ringing. It also keeps the commercial work moving while residential is loud.
Do we need a website when we already rank on the map?
Yes, for a different reader. The map brings the homeowner in a panic. The site is what a property manager, a builder or a realtor opens before putting you on a list, and the insurance and credential pages matter more there than anywhere.
Is it worth paying to be listed in a home-services directory?
Treat it as a test. Sign up to one, record its calls and signed jobs on a separate line, and compare with your own channels at the end of the busy period. Where a lead is shared with other firms you compete on price, so keep it only if the jobs stay worth doing.
How do we count a customer who saw the truck and then searched?
Ask how they heard of you and write the answer: truck, map, neighbour or search. Allow two answers. At the end of the season the pattern shows how much of your search traffic is really the truck on the street.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
