Convention hotels · Content marketing

Publish the guides a planner needs before the first call to the hotel.

Content marketing for a convention hotel means writing the checklists, layouts and answers that an event planner looks for while building a conference, then putting them where the planner finds them. GullySales plans and writes the pieces from what your sales team already explains on calls.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For convention hotels

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Planners collect answers before they collect quotes”

Before a request goes out, the planner is checking how many breakouts fit, what the stage needs and whether outstation delegates can be housed. A hotel that has already written those answers is on the list earlier.

  • “Your sales manager repeats the same answers”

Pillars, power load, load-in times, menu choices and cancellation terms get explained on every call. Writing them once means the explanation is consistent and the call can move to the real decision.

  • “Case notes beat adjectives”

A page describing how a two-day conference with ten breakouts was laid out says more than the word versatile. It needs the client's permission and only facts the hotel can stand behind.

  • “Content that nobody can find is unfinished”

A guide hidden in a footer link helps no one. Each piece needs a home page, a link from the hall pages and a reason to be sent to a planner.

What we do

What we deliver for convention hotels.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A planner question list

The questions asked in enquiries, site visits and lost-quote notes, grouped by event type.

Result: Every planned piece answers a question the sales team has recorded.

  2. A conference layout guide

How to set a plenary with breakouts, registration and catering in your halls, with plans and photographs.

Result: A planner can match the guide to a headcount and a programme.

  3. A delegate stay and travel guide

Rooms in a block, transfers, parking and nearby places, written for the admin organising outstation delegates.

Result: The admin can lift the details into an invitation.

  4. Event case notes with permission

Short accounts of events held in the halls, with set-up and services, written with the client's agreement.

Result: Each note carries a recorded yes from the client.

  5. A sharing routine for the sales team

A list of which guide to send with which kind of enquiry, kept in the sales record.

Result: Sales sends the same guide for the same enquiry type.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who writes the content, us or you?
We draft from interviews with your sales and banquet teams, and you check every fact. Capacities, prices and terms must be correct, so the hotel signs off before anything is published.
How do we measure whether content works?
Track which pages planners open before they enquire and which guides are attached to quotes that were won. We set up the record so you can see this for yourselves.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
