Food trucks · WhatsApp marketing

Send today's spot to the regulars and answer event enquiries on the app they use.

WhatsApp marketing for a food truck is using the app your customers and organisers already open to share the day's location and handle booking questions. GullySales works on a business setup, a consent-based list and a set of replies, within the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For food trucks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Regulars read WhatsApp, not the grid”

A person walking to lunch checks messages before an app feed. A short note saying the truck is at the usual gate by noon reaches them where they already look.

  • “Organisers ask for a menu and a rate on WhatsApp”

The first contact is a message, then a request for a PDF. If the answer is a typed reply built from memory each time, details change between conversations.

  • “A personal number mixes work and life”

Orders, family and event enquiries in one chat make leads easy to miss. A separate business number and a catalogue keep the truck's messages in their own place.

  • “Messaging without consent loses the list”

People add themselves because they want the truck's location. Sending offers they never asked for gets you blocked, and the platform may limit the number. Check the platform's current rules before sending anything in bulk.

What we do

What we deliver for food trucks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number set up for the truck

Profile, hours, description, catalogue of the menu and a greeting, so the number looks like a business.

Result: A new contact sees what the truck is.

  2. A sign-up route at the window and online

A QR code or link that asks permission to receive the day's location.

Result: The list is made of people who chose to be on it.

  3. A format for the day's location message

One short layout stating the place, the time and the special.

Result: Regulars learn to read it at a glance.

  4. Saved replies for event enquiries

Saved answers for menu, rate, space needs, availability and licence papers.

Result: The first reply is clear and consistent.

  5. An event menu and sheet ready to send

A PDF or catalogue entry an organiser can forward to the committee.

Result: The committee sees the same details you sent.

  6. Labels for the stage of each chat

Tags for new enquiry, quote sent, held and confirmed.

Result: You see which chats need attention.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers to everyone in our contacts?
Send only to people who agreed to hear from the truck, and give an easy way to stop. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging before using any bulk tool.
Do we need the paid business API?
Not to begin. The business app with a catalogue and saved replies handles a small truck. Consider the API only when message volume outgrows it.
How do we avoid replying all day?
Set saved replies and a greeting, and tell customers when you answer. A truck cannot chat while cooking, so a clear message about when you reply is better than an empty promise.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
