Group tour operators · Digital marketing

Put search, social and WhatsApp to work for the groups you actually want to carry.

Digital marketing for a group tour operator means choosing among search, social, email, WhatsApp and ads according to where organisers and travellers actually meet you. GullySales works on a plan that follows your departure calendar and the audience for each trip.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For group tour operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The calendar sets the plan”

A departure two months away needs different effort from one that is short of its minimum. Planning marketing around each date, with seats left and the minimum in view, avoids spreading effort evenly over trips that need it unevenly.

  • “Offline sources still lead the sale”

Clubs, trusts and word of mouth bring organisers, and a digital plan that ignores them wastes effort. Digital work should support these sources by giving the secretary a page, a card or a message to share.

  • “Different trips need different channels”

A pilgrimage reaches trust members, a school tour reaches coordinators by email, and a senior citizen trip reaches families on social media. One channel mix for every trip leaves some audiences untouched.

  • “Measure to the deposit, not the click”

A page view tells you little about a coach filling. Track enquiries, groups formed and deposits received per source so spending follows the sources that produce travellers.

What we do

What we deliver for group tour operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan by trip type

A short plan stating which channels serve each trip and group, and which are left out.

Result: A plan you can explain in a few lines.

  2. Departure promotion calendar

A calendar of announcements, reminders and last-seat messages tied to each fixed departure.

Result: Each departure has planned activity until it closes.

  3. Source tracking sheet

A record of where each enquiry, group and deposit came from.

Result: Spending can be compared with deposits received.

  4. Ad test plan

If you choose to advertise, a small, clear test for one trip with a stated aim and a stop point.

Result: Ads judged by deposits, not impressions.

  5. Team routine

Who posts, who replies and who updates the record, with a simple checklist.

Result: A routine that continues when someone is away.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small operator start?
With a clear website, a tidy Business Profile and WhatsApp. Add ads once you know which trips fill from which sources.
Do we need to be on every platform?
No. Be where your organisers and families look, and do those well. A thin presence on five platforms serves less than a clear one on two.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
