Non-vegetarian restaurants · Digital marketing

Put search, maps, apps and WhatsApp to work for one thing: the next full table.

Digital marketing for a non-vegetarian restaurant is the combined use of search, maps, delivery apps, social media and messaging to bring in diners and orders. GullySales works on choosing which of these suit your kitchen and checking that each one earns its place.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For non-vegetarian restaurants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every channel claims credit”

The app says it brought the order, Maps says it brought the call and Instagram says it brought the visit. Without a record of where each diner came from, the owner cannot tell which spend is working.

  • “Paid promotion on the apps eats margin”

Commission, packaging and discounts can leave little on a biryani order. A restaurant that pays to be seen without knowing its cost per plate may be buying volume at a loss. Working out the per-plate figure shows what each order leaves.

  • “The spend follows the competitor, not the diner”

A restaurant that matches the neighbour's offers ends up with the neighbour's customers, at the neighbour's margin. A plan starts from your own dish, your area and your hours. Your own dish and area are the better starting point.

  • “The offline word-of-mouth still counts”

A great kebab passed between neighbours and offices is the base of the trade. Digital work should support that talk with a visible listing and a way to book, not replace it. A visible listing makes each recommendation easier to act on.

What we do

What we deliver for non-vegetarian restaurants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A map of every route a diner uses

A one-page chart of the ways a diner finds and reaches you: search, maps, apps, social, WhatsApp, walk-in.

Result: The owner can see which routes are live and which are missing.

  2. A per-plate view of app orders

A simple sheet comparing the price of a dish with commission, packaging and offers on each platform.

Result: You know what each app order leaves in the till.

  3. A source tag on enquiries and bookings

Staff ask how the diner heard of you, and the answer is noted with the order.

Result: The last month of bookings shows where each came from.

  4. A short list of channels to run

The two or three channels that suit the kitchen, with the reasons, and the ones to leave alone for now.

Result: Spend has a stated reason behind each channel.

  5. A festival and weekend plan

A calendar of when each channel is pushed, linked to Ramzan, Christmas, New Year's Eve and match nights.

Result: The team knows what runs when.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which channel should we start with?
Start with the one that already brings diners, such as Maps. We read your orders and enquiries first, then add the next channel only after the first is working.
Do we need an agency for the apps?
The apps can be managed in house. We review the menu, photographs and ratings and the commission arithmetic, then you decide how much of it to do yourself.
Will you promise more orders?
No. Orders depend on the food, the area and the season. We set up the routes, measure each, and tell you plainly which ones earn their cost.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
