Resorts · Pay per click advertising
Spend on the quiet dates, not on the long weekend that fills itself.
PPC for a resort means paying Google to show your property for searches with a trip in mind, such as a resort near Bangalore for a team outing, and paying only when someone clicks. GullySales points the spend at the dates and kinds of stay that do not fill on their own, and sends each click to a page that can take the enquiry.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means
Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For resorts
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Ads running on dates already sold out”
A long weekend in the hills books itself. Money spent in Diwali week buys clicks from people who will find you full, while the rainy Tuesday gets nothing.
“Every click sent to the home page”
Someone searching for an offsite venue lands on a page of honeymoon photographs and leaves. The ad and the page it opens have to be about the same trip.
“Clicks from people looking for a job or a free stay”
Resort jobs, hotel management internships and free stays for creators are all real searches. Without negative keywords, your budget pays for them.
What we do
What we deliver for resorts.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Campaigns split by kind of trip
Separate campaigns for family weekends, team outings, friends' groups and couples, each with its own ad text and landing page.
Result: You can see which kind of trip the money is buying.
Spend planned around the booking calendar
Budget moved toward weekdays, the monsoon and the gaps between long weekends, read from your own calendar of empty rooms.
Result: Money goes to the dates that need guests.
Negative keyword list for the trade
Job, internship, wedding photographer, free stay and complaint searches blocked before the first rupee is spent.
Result: Fewer clicks from people who were never going to book.
Landing pages that open WhatsApp
Each campaign lands on a page stating the meal plan and the drive time, with a button that opens WhatsApp and a message ready for the guest to add dates.
Result: The enquiry arrives with dates, so the reply can quote a rate.
Calls and chats counted as enquiries
Conversion tracking on calls, WhatsApp clicks and forms, matched against the bookings in your register.
Result: You judge each campaign by stays booked, not clicks.
How the result is measured
- Cost per click
- Cost per enquiry
- Enquiries from paid search
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Searches to bid on and block
The searches worth paying for at a resort, and the ones to keep out.
- Resort near a city, for a weekend
- Bid, aimed at the city your guests drive from, such as Bengaluru, Pune or Delhi. Put the drive time and the meal plan in the ad, and land on a page for that trip.
- Team outing, offsite and day-out searches
- Bid, as its own campaign for HR and admin staff. Land on a page with group rooms, the hall or lawn, activities and transport, and ask for the company, headcount and dates.
- Place plus a feature, such as pool villa in Lonavala
- Bid only where the feature is real at your property. If the pool is shared or the stream runs only after the rains, say so on the page, or the click turns into a complaint.
- Your own property name
- Bid in a small campaign. The ad should say what booking direct gives, such as early check-in or a bonfire dinner, rather than a lower rate that may clash with an app agreement.
- Jobs, internships, free stays, photographers and complaints
- Block. Resort jobs, hotel management internships, influencer free stays, wedding photographers and searches for complaints about the place bring clicks that never book.
- Counting a real enquiry
- Count a WhatsApp chat or call that names dates and the number of guests, and match it to the booking register. A click with no dates is not an enquiry.

How it works
How the pay per click advertising work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Understand the total budget
We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.
- 2
Audit current platform performance
We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.
- 3
Build the cross-platform plan
Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.
- 4
Implement and monitor
Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.
- 5
Measure and reallocate
We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
