Water sports and scuba operators · WhatsApp marketing

Turn the chat that already takes the booking into a system.

WhatsApp marketing for a water sports operator is the organised use of WhatsApp for enquiries, confirmations, reminders and updates to guests who have agreed to hear from you. GullySales works on the catalogue, the replies and the permissions that keep the chat useful.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For water sports and scuba operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The tourist's first message is already on WhatsApp”

A guest finds the operator on the map or Instagram and taps the green button. The reply decides the booking, so slow answers and typed-out repeats cost more than any advertisement.

  • “The same four questions fill the day”

Inclusions, timing, age limits and weather. Saved replies and a business profile with a catalogue answer them in seconds and leave the owner free for the guest who has a harder question.

  • “Group chats mix guests and staff”

A party group with crew, organiser and guests together becomes noisy and loses decisions. A set structure for pre-trip, on-the-day and post-trip messages keeps the group useful.

  • “Broadcasts without permission damage the number”

Sending offers to everyone in the phone book invites blocks and reports. A list built from guests who agreed to hear from you, with a simple way to leave, protects the number.

What we do

What we deliver for water sports and scuba operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile and catalogue

Activities, inclusions, meeting point and booking steps set up as a catalogue with clear descriptions.

Result: Guests see the menu before they type.

  2. A set of quick replies

Saved answers for price, safety, requirements, weather and payment, written in the operator's voice.

Result: The common questions take seconds to answer.

  3. A booking confirmation message

A standard message carrying date, slot, meeting point, what to carry and the contact on the day.

Result: Guests have everything in one place.

  4. An opt-in list for season updates

A simple way for guests to agree to messages about dates and openings, with a clear option to stop.

Result: Broadcasts go only to people who asked.

  5. A rough-day message template

A prepared note for weather cancellations, with the rebooking or refund option.

Result: A bad-sea morning does not become a hundred separate arguments.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers to past guests?
Only to those who agreed to receive them. Keep a record of the agreement and a way to opt out. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging before sending to a list.
Is the WhatsApp Business app enough, or do we need the API?
For one small desk the app is enough. When several people answer or messages need automation, the API through an approved provider becomes the next step. Decide by the volume you handle.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
