Hotels · Local SEO
Appear on the map when a guest searches for a room near where they are going.
Local SEO for a hotel is the work of showing in map results when a traveller searches for rooms, or a family for a banquet hall, near a station, an office park, a hospital or a venue. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the pages that name your surroundings and the reviews that sit beside both.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means
Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For hotels
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The search names the place, not your hotel”
A visitor types hotel near the airport, rooms near the convention centre or stay near the hospital. The map answers with the profile that fits that place. If your profile and pages never mention the landmark, you are absent from the search that matters.
“Rooms and the banquet hall need different map answers”
A family searching for a wedding hall wants capacity, parking and the kitchen. A traveller wants a room and a check-in time. One profile with a vague description serves neither, so the description, photographs and services must name both, and the banquet route must lead to a person who replies.
“Booking sites sit under the map and take the tap”
A traveller who taps an OTA result never meets your website. The map profile is the one result you own, so its photographs, booking link and phone number have to be right, because they are all the guest sees of you before choosing.
“Guest photographs age the hotel faster than the rooms do”
Guests upload their own pictures of the corridor, the washroom and the breakfast spread. If the set the owner uploaded is old, those pictures define the property. Current photographs of the room as it stands, and of the entrance a late arrival must find, hold the first impression.
What we do
What we deliver for hotels.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
One profile set up for rooms and the banquet hall
Primary and secondary categories, description, attributes and services entered for the rooms and for the hall, each with its own booking link.
Result: The profile answers a room search and a banquet search.
A page for each landmark near the property
A page for each station, office cluster, hospital or venue close by, giving the road distance and how a guest arrives.
Result: A search naming a landmark finds a page that answers it.
Entrance and arrival photographs
Pictures of the gate, signage, reception and the route from the station or airport, for the guest who lands after dark.
Result: A late arrival recognises the entrance.
Review replies that name the issue
A written reply to each review that speaks plainly to cleanliness, noise, check-in or breakfast, with the review request handed over at check-out.
Result: A reader sees complaints answered and finds recent reviews from real stays.
The same name, address and phone on every listing
Hotel details matched across the OTAs, directories and website, so the map is not given conflicting versions.
Result: One version of the hotel appears everywhere.
Profile counts read against a baseline
The profile's own figures for calls, direction requests and website taps, recorded before the work starts.
Result: You can check whether the profile brought people to the hotel.
How the result is measured
- Map pack ranking
- Local search visibility
- Enquiries by locality
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Searches your buyers type
Map searches for a hotel name the place a guest is going, not the hotel itself.
A guest in a car or a station searches near the destination. The profile must answer for rooms and, separately, for the hall.
- hotel near Chennai airport
- The profile description names the airport and the road distance, and the photographs show the lobby, so a tired traveller picks the pin.
- hotel near me with parking
- List parking in the profile attributes and show the entrance in a photograph, since a driver chooses on that.
- hotel near Tirupati temple for family
- A profile entry that names the temple, the distance and the shuttle if there is one, written for a pilgrim family.
- wedding hall near me
- A banquet listing or a clear section for the hall, with capacity as the property states it and a call button to the banquet desk.
- business hotel near tech park
- A profile line for the corporate traveller giving the park, the early breakfast and the desk and wifi arrangements.
- hotel with restaurant open now
- Set the restaurant hours on the profile and keep them true, since a guest who arrives to a closed kitchen leaves a review.
Who it is for
This is written for these hotels.
- Business and transit hotels
- Boutique and heritage properties
- Resort and destination hotels
- Budget and mid-market chains
- Banquet and wedding-focused properties
- Serviced apartments and long-stay properties
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- The hotel has no verified profile and no one with the code to confirm it, which must be settled before any map work
- The banquet hall is let by another company under a different name, and one profile would confuse guests
- You cannot reply to reviews, and a profile with unanswered complaints puts guests off
How it works
How the local SEO work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Write down what is true
Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.
- 2
Search as your buyer does
We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.
- 3
Fix the profile first
Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.
- 4
Build the branch pages and match the listings
Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.
- 5
Ask, reply and measure
We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
