Freight forwarding companies · Website

Build a site that tells an exporter your lanes, your cargo and how to ask for a rate.

A freight forwarder website is the place where a shipper checks that you serve their port and cargo and then asks for a rate. GullySales designs the pages, the rate form and the structure so a visitor finds their lane without reading a page of general claims.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For freight forwarding companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A page of generic claims loses the visitor”

A line about global logistics solutions says nothing to an importer of machinery who wants a forwarder from Shanghai to Chennai. The visitor leaves to look at the next forwarder. Pages that name ports and cargo hold the visitor's attention.

  • “The rate form is the most important part”

A shipper who is ready to ask should see a short form that collects commodity, weight or volume, ports, Incoterm and date. A form that asks for everything puts people off, and a plain contact page asks the desk to chase for details.

  • “Mobile visitors are real”

A shipping executive checks a forwarder from a phone, between meetings. Pages that load slowly or need pinching and zooming lose them. The site must read well on a small screen and the call button must work.

  • “Proof must be real and checkable”

Offices, ports served, licences held and partners can be stated if they are true and current. A claim you cannot support, or a list of logos you have no right to show, hurts you when a shipper checks.

What we do

What we deliver for freight forwarding companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Site map

A structure with a page for each service, lane and cargo, and a clear way to move between them.

Result: A map of pages a visitor can follow to their own lane.

  2. Lane and cargo pages

Pages for your main lanes and cargo types with the services, the details a quote needs and a link to the form.

Result: Each page ends at the rate form.

  3. Rate request form

A short form with the fields a quote needs, sending requests to a shared inbox and to the record.

Result: Requests arrive complete and in one place.

  4. About and offices page

A page with your offices, years in the trade as you state them, licences and partners that you can show.

Result: A page whose every claim you can back up.

  5. Mobile and speed check

Testing on phones and a fix for slow pages, with the call and WhatsApp buttons working.

Result: A site that works for a visitor on a handset.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a new site or can you fix the old one?
We look at the old one first. If the structure is sound, we add lane pages and the form. If it is not, we say so and explain what a rebuild involves.
What licences can we show?
Only those you hold and that are current. Licensing rules vary by body and port, so check with your own adviser or the authority before you publish them.
Should we put rates on the site?
No. Rates change with the shipping lines and the season. Explain what a quote includes and invite the rate request instead.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
