Import-export trading companies · Website

Build a site that an importer abroad can read, trust and write to.

A website for a trading company is the product catalogue, the proof of past shipments and the enquiry route in one place, written for a purchasing reader. GullySales plans the pages, writes the copy and sets up the form that logs each enquiry.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For import-export trading companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A buyer abroad judges the firm by the site”

An importer who has never met you reads your site to decide whether to send a sample. Broken pages, stock photographs and a missing address say the firm is small or new. Clear products, real photographs and company details say the firm is a trader to deal with.

  • “The site must answer the first questions”

What do you trade, in what packing, from which ports, with what minimum quantity, and how do I ask for a quote. A buyer who cannot find these in a minute goes to the next listing. Put the answers on the product page, not behind a contact form.

  • “Certificates and registrations belong on the site”

Buyers ask what you hold, such as export registrations and product certificates. List only what you hold and can show, and tell the reader to ask for the document. Rules and requirements differ by product and country, so a customs agent or adviser should confirm the details.

  • “Phones in the buyer's country matter”

A buyer on a phone in another country may have a slow connection. Heavy images and long forms lose them. A light page, a short enquiry form and a WhatsApp link that works on a phone keep the route open.

What we do

What we deliver for import-export trading companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Site structure by product and market

A map of pages for the home page, each product line, key markets, about and contact.

Result: You can see every page and the reader it serves.

  2. Product page copy

Written pages with grade, packing, ports, minimum order information and an enquiry button.

Result: A buyer finds what they need to write an enquiry.

  3. About and proof pages

A page on the firm, its people, the goods shipped and documents held, using only facts you can document.

Result: A purchasing reader finds the checks in one place.

  4. Enquiry form and routing

A short form asking for product, quantity, destination and contact, sending each enquiry to the buyer record.

Result: Each enquiry arrives with the details needed for a quote.

  5. Mobile and speed check

A review of how the site loads and reads on a phone, with a list of fixes.

Result: You receive a list of what was found and what was changed.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need an e-commerce site to sell abroad?
A trading firm needs a catalogue and an enquiry route, not a shopping cart. Buyers ask for quotes because price, packing and freight vary with each order. A cart suits small standard parcels, not container orders.
Can you build the site and also write the copy?
Yes, GullySales handles page planning and copy. Product facts come from you, and we do not invent claims. You approve each page before it is published.
Should the site show prices?
That is your decision. Prices move with the mill rate, freight and exchange. Some traders show a specification and ask the buyer to request a quote, so a stale figure never misleads anyone.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
