Last-mile delivery companies · WhatsApp marketing

Let a shop owner book a rider with one message instead of a phone call.

WhatsApp marketing for a last-mile delivery company is the use of a business number to take enquiries, confirm trials and keep in touch with sellers who already send parcels. GullySales works on the business profile, the message wording and the rules for who is contacted, within WhatsApp's current terms.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For last-mile delivery companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A shop owner prefers a message to a call”

During service hours a florist or restaurant cannot stay on a call. A message with a pickup address and a time is something they can send between orders, and a rider can act on it.

  • “Sending to a list needs permission”

Messaging sellers who never asked to hear from you damages the number and the name. Contact only those who enquired or agreed, and check the platform's current rules on business messaging before any broadcast.

  • “The business number must not be one rider's phone”

If enquiries land on a personal phone and that person leaves, the number and the history leave too. A business number with a shared inbox keeps the conversation with the company.

  • “Tracking links and updates are part of the service”

A brand's customers want a link that shows where the parcel is. Messages that carry this build trust with the brand, and they also make a sales case when you show them in a pilot.

What we do

What we deliver for last-mile delivery companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile set up properly

Name, description, address or service area, hours and a catalogue of services on the business number.

Result: The profile shows your company's details correctly.

  2. Saved replies for common questions

Saved answers on coverage, trial orders, cash-on-delivery handling and pickup booking.

Result: Frequent questions are answered from approved wording.

  3. Enquiry-to-record routing

Each new conversation logged against a name, area and parcels expected.

Result: Every WhatsApp enquiry has a record beside it.

  4. A consent list

A record of which sellers agreed to receive messages, and when.

Result: Broadcasts go only to people on the list.

  5. Season and capacity messages

A short message to current accounts before a busy period, with a reply option to book capacity.

Result: Accounts respond to one message with their expected volume.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers to all the shops nearby?
Only to shops that have agreed to hear from you. Check the platform's current rules before sending anything in bulk. A visit with a card and a request to message first is the safer route.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. The Business app is enough for a small operation. The API suits a larger team that needs several agents on one number, and it brings costs and rules to check.
Who should answer the business number?
A named person or small team with a rota, so a message is never sitting unseen. The answer should come in your company's voice, and the conversation stays with the company.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step
