Trucking companies · Digital marketing

Put each channel behind the lanes where your trucks have room.

Digital marketing for a trucking company is the choice and joining-up of website, search, profiles, WhatsApp and outreach so shippers on your lanes can find and call the fleet. GullySales works on which channel suits which buyer and on a record that shows where enquiries come from.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For trucking companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Start where the empty trucks are”

Marketing spent on a lane that is already full adds little. The trip sheets show where trucks wait, so point effort at those lanes and the shippers on them. Lanes with idle trucks come first, and full lanes can wait.

  • “Paid search suits a few searches only”

A paid ad for a vehicle type on a route can reach a shipper at the moment of need. A click from the wrong town or for the wrong vehicle costs money and brings no load, so narrow by place and vehicle first.

  • “Each channel has a different buyer”

Load boards reach small traders, LinkedIn reaches plant staff, Google reaches a person searching at a desk and WhatsApp carries the follow-up. Decide the buyer first and the channel after. A fleet that tries every channel for every buyer spreads thin and learns little.

  • “A record of the source decides the next rupee”

If nobody notes whether an enquiry came from a board, a call, a map or a referral, the owner pays for all of them and learns nothing. A source column on the enquiry sheet fixes that.

What we do

What we deliver for trucking companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan by buyer and lane

A one-page plan that pairs each buyer type and lane with the channel that reaches them.

Result: The owner can say why each channel is in use.

  2. Source tracking

A source field on every enquiry and a plain count of what arrived from where.

Result: Each enquiry names the channel that brought it.

  3. Landing pages for paid search

Pages written for a given vehicle and route so an ad leads to a page that matches it.

Result: An ad click lands on the lane the shipper searched.

  4. Spend and result sheet

A sheet that sets what is spent on each channel against the loads it brought.

Result: The owner reads cost against loads for every channel.

  5. Review of idle trucks against channels

A look at which channels filled which trucks and which left trucks waiting.

Result: A written view of what to repeat and what to stop.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these trucking companies.

  • Owner-operators with one to five trucks
  • Fleet owners with ten to fifty trucks on contract and market loads
  • Tipper and construction material truck operators
  • Tanker operators for fuel, chemicals, milk and edible oil
  • Trailer and container haulage operators near ports and rail terminals
  • Car carrier and vehicle transporters
  • Bulk cement and fly ash carriers
  • Truck operators attached to a single plant or a mine

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should a small fleet spend on ads at all?
Only after the basics are in place: a profile, a page for the main lane and a way to record enquiries. Ads then buy attention for something that can answer it. GullySales will tell you if the basics are not ready.
Which channel should come first?
The one your current best shippers came from. If the trip sheets show direct shippers who found you by search, build there. If they came by referral, build the referral habit first.
How is digital marketing different for trucking than for a shop?
The buyer is a business with a lane, a vehicle need and a payment process, not a person walking in. Messages, pages and follow-ups are written for that buyer, and the sale is a repeat contract rather than a single purchase.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
