Trucking companies · WhatsApp marketing

Run load enquiries on WhatsApp without losing one in a crowded chat list.

WhatsApp marketing for a trucking company means using a business number, saved replies and permission-based lists to handle load enquiries and keep shippers informed. GullySales works on the account set-up, the reply kit and the rules for who messages whom.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For trucking companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Broker groups and shipper chats are different rooms”

A truck-available post in a broker group reaches people hunting a cheap vehicle. A message to a plant's logistics head is private and formal. Keep the two apart, on separate numbers or lists. Mixing them puts a plant's formal request next to a broker's price haggle.

  • “The driver's phone is not the fleet's phone”

A shipper who gets a driver's number from the truck's board calls it from then on. Move shippers to the business number and keep the driver's phone for the trip alone. The shipper then has a number that stays with the business, whoever is driving.

  • “Permission comes before broadcast”

A list of traders added without asking turns into spam and risks the number being blocked. Add people who asked, or who agreed on a call, offer a way to leave and check the platform's current rules.

  • “Trip updates are marketing”

A location note from the road and a photograph of the delivered load, sent without being asked, make the next booking easier. WhatsApp is where shippers already want this. The message costs the driver a minute and gives the shipper a reason to book again.

What we do

What we deliver for trucking companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business account set-up

A WhatsApp Business account with company name, address, description and a catalogue of vehicle types.

Result: A shipper who opens the chat sees the fleet before typing.

  2. Saved replies for enquiries

Replies for a rate request, a truck photograph, driver details and a lane not served.

Result: A clerk answers a load enquiry in a consistent way.

  3. List rules

Who may be added to a broadcast list, how they agree, how they leave and what is never sent.

Result: Every person on a list asked to be there.

  4. Trip update template

A short message for loading done, in transit and delivered, with the lorry receipt number.

Result: A shipper hears from the fleet without calling it.

  5. Chat-to-sheet hand-off

A rule for copying each new enquiry from the chat to the enquiry sheet the same day it arrives.

Result: No enquiry exists only in a chat.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these trucking companies.

  • Owner-operators with one to five trucks
  • Fleet owners with ten to fifty trucks on contract and market loads
  • Tipper and construction material truck operators
  • Tanker operators for fuel, chemicals, milk and edible oil
  • Trailer and container haulage operators near ports and rail terminals
  • Car carrier and vehicle transporters
  • Bulk cement and fly ash carriers
  • Truck operators attached to a single plant or a mine

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can one number serve brokers and shippers?
It can, but they are better served apart. A broker wants speed and a plain rate, and a plant wants a formal record. Two numbers or two labelled lists keep each conversation in the right tone.
Is it acceptable to message shippers we found ourselves?
Introduce yourself once, offer a way to say no and follow the platform's current rules. Repeated unsolicited messages get a number reported. A call to introduce the fleet is a better first step.
What should never go into a WhatsApp group?
Rates for named shippers, a customer's load details and driver personal numbers. A group has members you do not control, so keep anything private to a one-to-one chat.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
