Courier companies · Reputation management
You get one star for a delay caused two states away.
Reputation for a courier counter is mostly about shipments you handed over and no longer control. A parcel stuck in transit, a customs hold, a delivery attempt that never happened. GullySales sets up monitoring, a reply routine that gives the sender a real next step, and a review request once delivery is confirmed.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means
Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For courier companies
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The complaint is about the network and the review is about you”
A parcel delayed in another state gets written up on your counter's listing, because yours is the name and the face the sender knows.
“A customs hold sounds like an excuse”
Food held at the destination is the sender's worst experience of you. Explaining what the destination country allows, before booking, is what stops the review.
“The national rating is not your rating”
A brand's own reviews are full of delivery complaints from across the country. Your counter's listing, with recent answered reviews, is the only part you control.
What we do
What we deliver for courier companies.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Monitoring on your counter's listing and local groups
Reviews, directory entries and area groups checked on a routine, with anything new taken to whoever can chase the shipment.
Result: A complaint is caught while the parcel can still be found.
A reply routine that gives a next step
Replies that state where the shipment is, what has been escalated and which person at your counter is handling it.
Result: The next reader sees a counter that takes charge.
An escalation route into the network, written down
Who to contact at the hub, in what order and with what reference, so a stuck shipment gets chased the same way every time.
Result: Your staff stop telling a customer to wait and see.
Expectations set at the booking counter
Transit times, what customs at the other end may do, and what is not promised, said aloud and printed on the counter sheet.
Result: The complaint is prevented while the parcel is being packed.
Review requests sent on delivery confirmation
The request going out with the delivery confirmation on WhatsApp, rather than when the parcel is booked.
Result: You ask at the only moment the customer is thinking about you.
A complaint log with what was actually done
Every complaint recorded with the shipment number, the cause and the outcome, reviewed for what keeps recurring.
Result: The same problem stops arriving every festival.
Reviews summarised by cause
New reviews, the rating, the reply rate and whether the cause was transit, customs or the counter, against the starting position.
Result: You can separate your problems from the network's.
How the result is measured
- Average rating
- Response time to reviews
- Negative mentions resolved
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What to do with each review
How to answer each kind of review a courier counter gets.
- Praise for the counter or pickup
- Thank them and name the counter staff or the pickup person if they did. Ask regular senders to say what the service did for their office, and give them a card with the counter's direct number.
- A complaint about a parcel stuck in transit
- Take the consignment number and check the tracking. Reply with what you found and the next step, such as an escalation to the network's hub. Tell the sender in plain words whose job the next step is.
- A complaint about a customs hold or an international delay
- Explain that customs may hold a parcel for papers and that the customer may be asked for documents. Offer to help gather them. Set this expectation at booking with a printed note.
- A complaint about a missed pickup
- Check the call log and the route sheet. Say you are sorry, tell the customer the new pickup arrangement, and keep a record of missed pickups, since offices leave over this.
- A complaint about damage or a lost item
- Ask for the consignment number, photographs and the declared value. Explain the insurance and claim process of the network, and file the claim with them. Do not promise a payout.
- A one star that is about the national brand
- Reply that you are the franchise counter and give your contact. Point out what you can do, such as follow-up, and what the network handles. Do not criticise the brand in public.
Who it is for
This is written for these courier companies.
- Franchisee counters of national courier brands
- Independent domestic courier companies
- International courier and parcel consolidators
- Document and legal courier services
- Same-day and intra-city delivery services
- E-commerce shipping partners for online sellers
- Cargo and heavy parcel services
- Packing and moving plus courier counters
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- No one is named to reply, so replies would go out late or not at all.
- You want a bad review taken down because the delay was elsewhere, which the platform may not accept.
- The network, not the counter, causes most delays and you have no route to escalate them.
How it works
How the reputation management work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Search your name as a stranger would
We search the business, its main product names and the owner's name, on a phone and a laptop, and record what appears.
- 2
Catalogue every mention
Reviews, news, listings, social posts and forum threads are sorted into accurate and positive, accurate and negative, and wrong. Each group gets a different action.
- 3
Agree the replies and the owner of each
Replies are drafted and approved by you. Anything involving a refund, a clinical matter, a legal claim or a named employee goes to the right person in your business before anything is posted.
- 4
Fix what you control
Listings, profile details and your own pages are corrected, and pages worth ranking for your name are strengthened with accurate information.
- 5
Monitor and report
The agreed places are checked on the agreed schedule. The name search is repeated and compared with the first record.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3 · you are here
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
