Brick manufacturers · Buyer persona

Know whether the person on the phone is a developer, a mason or an owner.

A buyer persona for a brick kiln is a written description of one kind of buyer: what they order, how they decide and what they worry about. GullySales builds these from your own enquiry records and calls, so each persona is a buyer you have actually met.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For brick manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The developer buys on reliability”

A developer or large contractor orders by the lakh, pays an advance and plans the laying schedule around the delivery. What matters is a kiln that loads the agreed number of trucks and delivers to the day, with size and colour that stay the same.

  • “The mason buys on trust and commission”

A mason or small dealer recommends a kiln they have used on earlier jobs and may earn a margin. They want a rate card, a prompt answer and a kiln that does not go around them to the owner.

  • “The owner-builder buys once”

A person building a single house has never ordered bricks before, asks how several are needed and worries about breakage. They need patient answers, a grade explained in plain words and a delivery confirmed in writing.

  • “The architect or engineer specifies”

A professional who names fly ash, perforated or facing brick wants size, strength and a sample. The decision is made on a drawing, long before the order, and the kiln that supplied the sheet is the one named.

What we do

What we deliver for brick manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Four buyer profiles

One page each for developer, mason, owner-builder and specifier, written from your own enquiry notes and past orders.

Result: Each profile names the buyer, the usual order and the main worry in your own words.

  2. A question bank per profile

The questions each buyer asks, and the answers your staff should give in the same words every time.

Result: Anyone answering the phone gives the same answer to the same question.

  3. A call guide that sorts buyers

Three or four opening questions that tell the caller's type from the first minute and route the call.

Result: The staff can name the buyer type after the first call.

  4. A message set per buyer

Short WhatsApp and call scripts for each profile, covering the quote, the advance and the delivery.

Result: Each buyer type receives a message written for their decision.

  5. A review of profiles against orders

A comparison of profiles with actual orders after a season, to see which buyer type brought the most business.

Result: The owner sees which buyer type filled the order book.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these brick manufacturers.

  • Red clay brick kilns firing in the dry season
  • Wire-cut and extruded brick units
  • Fly ash brick makers
  • Kilns selling mainly through local agents and dealers
  • Kilns supplying developers and contractors by contract
  • Producers of facing, hollow or perforated bricks
  • Smaller kilns near growing towns selling straight to masons
  • Units that also make tiles, roofing or other clay products

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to do market research?
No. Your own order books, call notes and agent conversations hold the material. We turn them into profiles and fill gaps with questions to ask on the next calls.
What if one buyer fits two profiles?
Choose the profile that matches how they decide. A mason who also builds a house of their own is treated as a mason on the rate and as an owner-builder on the guidance.
How long does a persona stay accurate?
Until your buyer mix changes, such as a new developer in the area or a new brick type. Revisit the profiles when your order records show a shift.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
