Building and construction material manufacturers · Email marketing

Builders read email in the evening, on the way from the site to the office.

Email marketing for a building material manufacturer means sending price updates, product notes and project news to builders, architects and dealers who agreed to hear from you. GullySales builds the list from your own records, with consent, and reports the replies it brings.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For building and construction material manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The list is a bought file”

A purchased list of builders brings complaints and a damaged sender name, not orders.

  • “One mail goes to dealers and architects alike”

A dealer wants margin and stock news. An architect wants a data sheet. A single mail serves neither.

  • “Rate-change mails go to strangers”

The circular about a price revision is sent to everyone, including people who never bought.

What we do

What we deliver for building and construction material manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list built from your own records

Builders, contractors, dealers and consultants you have quoted or sold to, with the date and source of consent against each.

Result: Every address on the list can be mailed.

  2. Separate lists for dealers, builders and architects

Each group gets what it needs: dealers stock and scheme news, builders project and rate notes, architects data sheets and samples.

Result: A mail is relevant to the person who opens it.

  3. A sender identity and a reply path

A company address on your domain, a named sender, and a reply that reaches a person on your sales team.

Result: A reply is a conversation, not a bounce.

  4. Message templates for price and stock updates

A short note on rate revisions, new products, stock availability and delivery changes, plain and with one request at the end.

Result: Updates are clear and brief.

  5. An unsubscribe and consent routine

A working unsubscribe link, a record of who stopped and a rule that nobody who stopped is mailed again.

    Result: The list stays clean.

  6. Replies and orders counted

Replies, quotation requests and orders that followed each mail, compared with the position before work began.

Result: You see what the mailing brings.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a building material maker sets up before sending a single email to a builder or dealer.

Consent and where each address came from
Keep a column for the date and the source: a quotation request, a dealer form, a visiting card with a note. Do not mail a purchased list. India's data protection law applies, so check with your adviser.
A sender on your own domain
Use an address at your company's domain with a named person, not a free mail account. Set up the sender checks your domain host recommends, so mail does not go to spam.
Segments that match the reader
Split dealers, builders, architects and government buyers. A circular on a price revision belongs to dealers and repeat buyers. A data sheet belongs to architects and engineers.
An unsubscribe that works
Put a clear link in every mail and honour it at once. Keep a list of those who left and check it before every send, since one complaint to a mail provider can harm the whole domain.
A reply path to a person
Name who reads replies, and have that person answer on the same day. A mail that invites a quotation request and then goes unanswered is worse than no mail.
Newsletter or one-to-one
A rate update to a known buyer should read like a note from a salesman. Keep the newsletter for news that many readers care about, such as a new product or a stock plan for the season.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we buy a list of builders and contractors?
Better not. A bought list brings people who never asked to hear from you, low replies and a risk to your sending domain. Build the list from your own quotations, dealer forms and visits, and ask permission.
Is email even used by masons and small contractors?
Rarely. They use WhatsApp and calls. Email suits purchase managers, architects, consultants and dealers' offices. Choose the channel by who the reader is, and keep the same message short on both.
How do we keep our mails out of the spam folder?
Send only to people who agreed, from your own domain, with a clear subject and an unsubscribe link. Do not send large attachments to cold addresses. Check with your domain host for the current sender settings.
Is a newsletter worth the effort for a factory?
If you have real news, yes: a new product, a stock plan, a project completed. Without it, a note to the right buyer at the right time works better. Do not write a newsletter because the calendar says so.
Everyone asks for the rate on the phone. What do we say?
Give the rate with what it covers: grade, size, GST, freight, unloading and the minimum quantity. A caller who hears one number compares it with a rate that left things out. Naming what is included is what keeps you in the comparison.
Should we sell direct to builders or only through dealers?
That depends on your channel agreements and your plant. Many manufacturers serve large projects directly and everything smaller through dealers. Decide a rule, tell your dealers, and record which enquiries went where, so nobody feels undercut.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
