Building and construction material manufacturers · Website

An engineer decides in half a minute whether your site is a plant or a trading shop.

Website development for a building material manufacturer means a site that shows the plant, the products and the proof an engineer checks, with a form that asks for quantity and site. GullySales builds it on your own domain and connects every enquiry to your register.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For building and construction material manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The site looks like a dealer's page”

Stock photographs of walls and a catalogue of items, but no photograph of the plant and no capacity.

  • “The enquiry form asks for a name and nothing else”

Every enquiry arrives without a quantity, a site or a date, and a salesman has to ring to find out.

  • “The site is slow on a site engineer's phone”

Heavy images and brochures that take a minute to open on a poor signal.

What we do

What we deliver for building and construction material manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plant and capacity page

Photographs of the plant, the machines, the testing equipment and the storage yard, with what it can supply and where.

Result: A buyer sees a real manufacturer.

  2. A product page for each item

Sizes, grades, strength, test reports, uses and a sample request, in text a buyer can read on a phone.

Result: An engineer finds what he needs.

  3. A quotation request form

Product, quantity, delivery town, date needed and contact, sent to the sales desk and logged in the register.

Result: Every enquiry arrives with the facts.

  4. A projects and references page

Sites supplied, with the builder's permission, the quantity and the product used.

    Result: A buyer finds proof.

  5. A dealer and contact page

Where the product is stocked, and a page for a trader who wants to become a dealer.

Result: Buyers and dealers each have a way in.

  6. Speed, domain and ownership

A fast page on a mobile signal, a domain in your company's name and logins held by the management.

Result: The site loads and belongs to you.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the page must show

What a builder, engineer or dealer looks for on a building material maker's website, and how to show it.

The plant, with photographs
Show the machines, the testing area, the stock yard and the loading bay. Name the town and the area of the plant. A buyer wants to know there is a real works behind the page.
Specification, grade and test reports
Put sizes, strength and the standard mark in text for each product, and attach the latest report with its date. An out-of-date report does more harm than none.
Where you deliver
List the districts and towns you supply and the dispatch plant for each. A buyer in a town you do not reach should find that out in seconds, not after a call.
A form that asks for quantity and site
Ask product, quantity, delivery town and date, and let the buyer upload a drawing or quantity list. Send the answers to the sales desk and to a sheet your team can check.
Projects and references
Show sites you have supplied, with permission, and a contact who will take a call, if he agrees. A reference a buyer can verify counts for more than a long description.
A page for dealers
Say which regions are open, what a new dealer must send and who to ring. Keep it apart from the buyer pages so project buyers do not wade through trader information.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we sell through IndiaMART or have our own website?
Have both, with your own site as the base. A marketplace brings enquiries, but the listing is not yours and the rules change. Your own site holds your specification, your plant and your projects, and a buyer who finds you elsewhere will check it.
Do we need the site in Kannada or another local language?
Keep English for the technical pages and add the local language for the pages dealers and masons will use, such as products and contact. Ask your sales team in which language the callers speak, and start there.
How fast does the site need to be?
Fast enough to open on a mobile signal at a site. Keep images light and offer big files as downloads. Test it on a phone with a poor connection, as your buyer will.
Who owns the domain?
Your company. Register it in the company's name with an email address the management controls, and keep the login. If an agency or a relative registered it, get it transferred before anything else.
Everyone asks for the rate on the phone. What do we say?
Give the rate with what it covers: grade, size, GST, freight, unloading and the minimum quantity. A caller who hears one number compares it with a rate that left things out. Naming what is included is what keeps you in the comparison.
Should we sell direct to builders or only through dealers?
That depends on your channel agreements and your plant. Many manufacturers serve large projects directly and everything smaller through dealers. Decide a rule, tell your dealers, and record which enquiries went where, so nobody feels undercut.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
