Building and construction material manufacturers · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the contractor who needs a truckload, not the householder who wants ten bricks.

Paid search for a building material manufacturer has to separate the builder who needs a truckload from the man buying a few pieces. GullySales draws the map around your delivery radius, blocks retail and job searches, and reports cost per quotation, not per click.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For building and construction material manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Small buyers click the same words”

A homeowner wanting twenty blocks and a builder wanting twenty thousand search identically.

  • “Beyond the delivery radius, freight kills the rate”

A click from a town too far for your trucks becomes a quotation that loses before it is read.

  • “Dealers and rivals click your adverts”

Competitors, dealers and trading portals use your words and waste the budget.

What we do

What we deliver for building and construction material manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns by product

Blocks, pavers, ready-mix, tiles, chemicals and windows run apart, each with its own words and page.

Result: A paver click does not pay for a tile page.

  2. A map drawn by delivery distance

Targeting set by the towns and industrial areas your trucks reach, with farther places added only where freight has been worked out.

Result: You stop buying enquiries you cannot supply.

  3. A block list for retail and trading words

Per piece, retail, second hand, jobs, franchise, dealership, wholesale market and sellers' names, cut at launch and checked as terms appear.

Result: The budget stays on project buyers.

  4. A form asking the quantity and the site

Product, quantity, delivery town, date needed and whether a unloading crane or labour is available.

Result: A quotation starts from facts.

  5. Spend timed to the building season

Budget raised in the weeks before slabs and compound walls begin, and lowered in the heart of the monsoon.

Result: The money lands when sites are buying.

  6. Reporting in quotations and orders

Cost per call, per quotation and per order won by product, against the position before the first advert.

Result: You know what an order cost in advertising.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches from a builder or contractor ready to order, and the ones from everyone else.

AAC block, paver block or ready mix supplier, plus a town
Bid. A buyer naming a town has a site there. Say that you deliver to it, list the sizes, and ask the quantity on the form so a small buyer sees this is for project orders.
manufacturer, factory or bulk price
Bid on its own ad group. These words come from purchase managers who are comparing plants. Land the click on a page with capacity, test reports and the form for a rate request.
tile adhesive, putty or waterproofing near me
Bid only where your dealers stock it. Land the click on a page with the dealer list, because most of these buyers purchase one bag at a shop, not from the factory.
dealership, franchise or distributor wanted
Keep as a separate small campaign to a dealer page. Add them as negatives on the buyer campaigns so a trader's search does not use up the budget meant for projects.
second hand, price per piece, jobs
Block these. They come from retail buyers, job seekers and people with no project. Read the search terms report whenever the budget changes and add what you find.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a call or form that names a product, a quantity and a site town. Log it, then mark which ones reached a quotation, and which of those became orders.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on our own brand name?
A small amount, so that a dealer or trading portal cannot sit above you on your own name. Look at what appears first. If your own site is already first and nothing else competes, spend nothing there.
Can we advertise to builders by project?
Not directly. Search ads reach people when they search. Reach known builders through calls, a list and LinkedIn, and use search ads for the buyers who look for a supplier on their own.
Is call-only advertising right for us?
Only if the sales desk answers during the hours the advert runs. A site engineer who rings and reaches nobody will ring the next supplier. Use a form with a callback where the desk is thin.
How do we tell a genuine project enquiry from a small one?
Ask for the quantity and the site on the form, and ring back the same day. Mark each enquiry by size in the register. After some weeks you will see which search words bring the larger orders and can shift spend to them.
Everyone asks for the rate on the phone. What do we say?
Give the rate with what it covers: grade, size, GST, freight, unloading and the minimum quantity. A caller who hears one number compares it with a rate that left things out. Naming what is included is what keeps you in the comparison.
Should we sell direct to builders or only through dealers?
That depends on your channel agreements and your plant. Many manufacturers serve large projects directly and everything smaller through dealers. Decide a rule, tell your dealers, and record which enquiries went where, so nobody feels undercut.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
