Building and construction material manufacturers · Digital marketing

Start with the listing and the data sheet, not with a social media page.

Digital marketing for a building material manufacturer is the set of channels that bring builders, dealers and engineers to your product: a clear site, a Business Profile, marketplace listings, search ads and calls. GullySales puts them in the order that suits your plant.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For building and construction material manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Social media comes first and the site last”

The plant has a page with festival greetings and a site with no data sheets.

  • “Every channel is run by a different person”

The nephew does Instagram, the agency does IndiaMART and nobody sees the whole.

  • “Nobody knows which channel brings an order”

Enquiries arrive and the source is never asked.

What we do

What we deliver for building and construction material manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A first-year order of work

A written order for the channels, set by your products and buyers, with the first job for each.

Result: The effort goes where it counts first.

  2. A site and listings that carry the specification

Product pages, a Business Profile for each plant and corrected listings on the directories your buyers use.

Result: A buyer can check you online.

  3. A marketplace and directory plan

Which listings are worth paying for, who answers them and how each enquiry is recorded.

Result: Marketplace spend can be judged.

  4. A small search advertising campaign

A few product campaigns inside your delivery radius, with a block list and a form that asks the quantity.

Result: Paid clicks bring project buyers.

  5. A way to ask the source on every enquiry

One question on every call and form: how did you hear of us, written in the register.

    Result: You know what worked.

  6. Reporting from your own records

Enquiries, quotations and orders by channel, compared with the position before the work began.

Result: You can move money to what works.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for this trade

The channels that suit a building material plant, in the order to take them up.

Google Business Profile for each plant and depot
Correct the name, address, phone and category, add product photographs and the delivery area, and reply to reviews. Record the calls it brings, using a separate number if you can.
A page per product with its specification
Write grade, sizes, test reports and use for each product. Add an enquiry form that asks quantity and site. Record which page each enquiry came from.
IndiaMART and trade directories
Keep the listing accurate and reply to each enquiry the same day. Note which enquiries convert, and review the cost against orders. Check the platform's current terms before renewing.
WhatsApp Business for dealers and contractors
Set up a business number with a product catalogue and a short reply for rate requests. Collect permission to message, and record every deal's key facts in the register.
Search advertising in the delivery radius
Start with the one or two products you most want to sell, a small budget and a block list. Judge it by quotations and orders recorded, not by clicks.
What to leave until later
Leave daily social media posting, video production and large display campaigns until the site, the listing and the follow-up work. Masons and engineers rarely choose a supplier from a post.

Who it is for

This is written for these building and construction material manufacturers.

  • AAC block and fly ash brick makers
  • Concrete block, paver and kerbstone manufacturers
  • Ready-mix concrete plants
  • M-sand and aggregate crushers
  • Tile and sanitaryware manufacturers
  • Tile adhesive, putty and waterproofing makers
  • UPVC and aluminium window and door fabricators
  • TMT bar and steel product rerollers
  • Pipe, fitting and electrical conduit makers
  • Plywood, laminate and door manufacturers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we do digital marketing in house or hire an agency?
In house suits listings, replies and the register, which need someone who knows the plant. An agency helps with the site, search ads and reporting. Whichever you choose, keep the logins and the domain in your company's name.
Which channel first on a small budget?
The Business Profile and the product pages, since they cost little and every other channel sends buyers to them. Add a marketplace listing and a small search campaign once the replies and the register are working.
How do we tell what worked?
Ask every caller how he found you, write it in the register and count the orders by source at the end of the season. If a channel brought many enquiries but no orders, it is not working for you.
Do ads and organic search work together?
Yes. A buyer who sees your advert often checks your listing and reviews before he rings. Keep both accurate and match the wording. Compare the calls from each, so you know whether the ads add to what the listing already brings.
Everyone asks for the rate on the phone. What do we say?
Give the rate with what it covers: grade, size, GST, freight, unloading and the minimum quantity. A caller who hears one number compares it with a rate that left things out. Naming what is included is what keeps you in the comparison.
Should we sell direct to builders or only through dealers?
That depends on your channel agreements and your plant. Many manufacturers serve large projects directly and everything smaller through dealers. Decide a rule, tell your dealers, and record which enquiries went where, so nobody feels undercut.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
