Furniture manufacturers · CRM

One record for the dealer, the designer and the project, not three notebooks.

A CRM for a furniture manufacturer holds three different relationships: the dealer with a territory and a credit limit, the interior designer specifying your pieces, and the project enquiry with a quantity and an award date. GullySales sets the fields each one needs, so the owner can see which dealer and which region is slipping.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What CRM means

A CRM is the record where every enquiry, call and quote is kept against a customer, replacing separate notebooks, spreadsheets and memory. GullySales sets up or cleans an existing CRM and reports from it by enquiry outcome rather than by activity logged.

For furniture manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A dealer record is about floor space, not contact details”

What a rep needs before a visit is the territory, the credit period agreed, the minimum order, the models stocked and the date of the last reorder. A row with a phone number in it tells him nothing.

  • “The designer is the contact, the project is the deal”

One interior designer brings several site orders over the years. Hold her as a standing relationship with the projects listed beneath her, so each new site is not treated as a stranger.

  • “Log the quantity and the finish, not just the enquiry”

Two hundred workstations in laminate and a twelve-seat dining table in teak are not the same pipeline. Recorded without the count and the material, a month of enquiries cannot be read as a production forecast.

What we do

What we deliver for furniture manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Dealer accounts carrying terms and stock held

Territory, credit period, minimum order, models stocked and last reorder date recorded on every dealer, with the rep who owns the account.

Result: A rep opens the record before a visit and knows what to raise.

  2. Specifier contacts with their projects beneath them

Each interior designer, architect or turnkey contractor held as one relationship, with the sites specified and the pieces chosen listed against her.

Result: You can see who is actually sending you work.

  3. Project enquiries recorded with quantity, finish and award date

Every corporate, hospitality or builder enquiry logged with the piece count, the material, the expected award and the stage reached.

Result: The pipeline can be read as a loading plan for the factory.

  4. Quotes and sample pieces tracked to the enquiry

The quotation sent, the sample dispatched and the person who received it, held against the enquiry rather than in the despatch register.

Result: Nobody re-sends a sample that already went.

  5. Dealer and region reporting against the baseline

Orders and reorders reported by dealer and by region against the baseline recorded before work started, instead of one combined sales figure.

Result: A region losing dealers shows up while you can still act.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to record, and when

What a furniture manufacturer should record about dealers, designers and projects, and whether it needs software yet.

Dealer territory, credit limit and stock held
Write the dealer's city or pin-code area, the agreed credit limit and what display stock they hold. When a dealer's orders slow, this shows whether it is the territory, the stock or the credit.
Specifier and the project beneath them
Record the architect or interior designer, and list each project they specified your pieces for. One designer with several projects is worth more than a one-off buyer, and a call to them should start from that list.
Project enquiry: quantity, finish and award date
For an office or hotel project, record the quantity, finish, board or wood type, delivery site and when the contract will be awarded. A quote without an award date cannot be followed up properly.
Sample piece sent and who is testing it
Note which sample went where, the date and the person at the buyer who will approve it. A sample that sits unopened in a store is one of the commonest ways a project order quietly dies.
Rep and region on every record
Write which sales person owns the dealer or project. If the rep leaves, the owner or sales head can reassign the record the same day, and the dealer does not find nobody calling.
Do you need software yet?
A sheet is enough while the owner and one sales head cover every dealer. Choose a CRM when several reps visit dealers on the road and reps' phones hold the contacts. Credit limits should be visible only to those who need them.

Who it is for

This is written for these furniture manufacturers.

  • Home furniture manufacturers, sofas, beds and dining sets
  • Outdoor and garden furniture manufacturers
  • Custom and made-to-order carpentry units
  • Hospitality and hotel furniture contractors

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the crm work runs

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our reps keep their dealers in their own phones. How do we change that?
Give them a reason rather than a rule. When the reorder alert, the scheme sheet and the dealer's stock history sit in one place, opening the record saves the rep a call. The argument an owner cares about is what happens when a rep resigns.
Do we need separate tracking for dealer sales and project sales?
Yes, they behave differently. A dealer is a repeating account measured on reorders and floor space, while a project is a one-off deal measured on quotation and award. Forcing both into one pipeline hides the state of either.
A dealer's credit limit is sensitive. Can every rep see it?
No. Give reps the dealer's name, territory and orders, and let only the owner or the accounts head see credit terms. Most tools allow access by role. Set that before reps start entering data, because it is hard to take back.
A dealer orders by phone to the factory, and the rep also writes it down. How do we avoid double entry?
Pick one place for the order and make it the rule. The factory or the sales coordinator enters the order, and the rep only adds the visit note. Two entries of one order produce two different quantities, and then an argument.
Do we need to market to dealers and to consumers differently?
Yes. A dealer decides on margin and whether your trucks arrive on time, so he needs a rep and a margin sheet. A consumer decides on material and finish, so she needs a catalogue page that answers those plainly.
How do we win a corporate furniture tender?
A prompt, complete proposal with a sample piece and a past project reference usually matters more than being the lowest quote. Buyers are wary of a cheap quote that cannot deliver on time.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
