Furniture manufacturers · Review generation

Your dealer never reads reviews, but the homeowner in his showroom does.

Review generation for a furniture manufacturer is about the people at the end of your chain: the homeowner who bought a sofa through a dealer, and the office manager whose fit-out you installed. GullySales sets the moment and the wording for that ask, and keeps it separate from the reference a tender evaluator wants.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What review generation means

Review generation is the routine of asking satisfied customers to leave a Google or platform review at the moment they are happiest, rather than hoping they remember later. GullySales builds the request into your existing follow-up steps and tracks how many turn into a review.

For furniture manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Ask at installation, not at dispatch”

A customer judges the fitter and the delivery crew, not the factory. The moment worth using is the day the wardrobe goes up and the site is swept, while your own man is still standing there.

  • “The photograph of the installed piece is worth more than the words”

A buyer choosing a modular kitchen reads reviews to see somebody else's finished kitchen. Ask for the picture with the review, and take permission to use it on the product page.

  • “A tender evaluator wants a reference, not a rating”

A procurement team furnishing a hotel asks to speak to a property you supplied. Collect that contact after every large installation, while the site manager still remembers your name.

What we do

What we deliver for furniture manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review ask built into the installation sign-off

The fitter or delivery supervisor asks at handover and sends a short link on the spot, rather than the office posting a request days later.

Result: You ask at the one moment the customer is pleased.

  2. Photograph permission taken at the same time

A written line at handover allowing the picture of the installed piece to be used in your catalogue and on the product page.

Result: The catalogue fills with real installations instead of renders.

  3. The same ask given to every dealer showroom

A short script and link for dealer staff, so a customer buying your range in Hubballi is invited to review as one in Bengaluru is.

Result: The brand does not rest on the one showroom that bothers.

  4. Reference contacts collected after each large installation

A named contact at every completed office or hotel project, with permission recorded to pass the number to a tender evaluator.

Result: A reference request is answered the day it arrives.

  5. A reply routine for delivery complaints

A short, specific answer to a review about a late delivery or a chipped panel, saying what was done for that customer.

Result: The next buyer sees a manufacturer who put it right.

How the result is measured

  • Reviews received
  • Average rating
  • Response rate to requests

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Asking for reviews the right way

Ask at installation sign-off, and collect different proof from homeowners, dealers and office buyers.

A line on the sign-off sheet
Add a line to the sign-off sheet where the customer ticks that your team may send the review link. The sign-off is the one signature you already collect.
A card in every dealer's delivery bag
Hand each dealer a small card carrying your brand's review link and ask them to put it in with every delivery note. The homeowner buys from the dealer but lives with your sofa.
Office fit-out handover
For a workstation or conference-table order, ask the facilities or admin manager at the final handover, and ask for a letter on the company letterhead beside the online review.
Wood and finish named
Suggest the buyer name the material, such as teak, sheesham or pre-laminated board, and the finish. A buyer choosing between catalogues wants the wood, not just the delivery.
Link on the warranty card
Print the review link on the warranty card and the care leaflet in the packing. A buyer who finds the sofa comfortable a few weeks later has the link in hand.
Installers named only with a warning
Let the customer mention the installer if they wish, and tell the team beforehand. A named installer who is praised in public can also be blamed, so brief him first.

Who it is for

This is written for these furniture manufacturers.

  • Modular kitchen and wardrobe manufacturers
  • Office furniture and workstation manufacturers
  • Home furniture manufacturers, sofas, beds and dining sets
  • Outdoor and garden furniture manufacturers
  • Custom and made-to-order carpentry units
  • Hospitality and hotel furniture contractors

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the review generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the customer journey

We identify one fixed point in your service, such as handover or checkout, where every customer is asked in the same way.

  2. 2

    Read your current reviews

We read every review you have, count how many were answered, and note what customers praise in their own words.

  3. 3

    Set up the ask process

Templates and a simple sending process are built into your existing customer communication.

  4. 4

    Implement responses

Every incoming review, positive or negative, is responded to by the routine set down in writing after we have spoken to you.

  5. 5

    Measure and adjust

We track review volume and rating trend and adjust the ask timing if response rates are low.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our sales go through dealers. Whose reviews are they?
Both of you gain, and the dealer's listing is where a local buyer looks. Ask his staff to invite the review and encourage the customer to name the range, so your brand appears in the words even on his profile.
A customer posted about a delivery that came weeks late. What do we do?
Reply with what happened and what has changed in despatch, then ask privately how you can put it right. Leaving it unanswered tells the next reader that the delay was normal.
Should we ask for reviews on Google, IndiaMART or our own website?
Ask homeowners for Google, since they search your brand name. Ask trade and office buyers who found you through IndiaMART to rate you there, and check the platform's current rules. Use your own website only to display what you have collected, not as the place to collect it.
Can the installer ask on WhatsApp after leaving the site?
Yes, as long as the customer gave a number for delivery updates and the message is polite and sent once. Have the installer ask in person at sign-off and message the link afterwards. A message from an unknown number or a pushy follow-up does harm.
Do we need to market to dealers and to consumers differently?
Yes. A dealer decides on margin and whether your trucks arrive on time, so he needs a rep and a margin sheet. A consumer decides on material and finish, so she needs a catalogue page that answers those plainly.
How do we win a corporate furniture tender?
A prompt, complete proposal with a sample piece and a past project reference usually matters more than being the lowest quote. Buyers are wary of a cheap quote that cannot deliver on time.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
