Industrial equipment manufacturers · Digital marketing
Connect specification search to a fast, complete quotation.
Digital marketing for an industrial manufacturer connects search and trade directory visibility to a fast RFQ response, since the order usually goes to whoever quotes accurately first.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means
Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

Sales and marketing for industrial equipment manufacturers, the overview.

For industrial equipment manufacturers
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Trade directories still carry real enquiry volume”
IndiaMART and similar platforms remain a major RFQ source for many manufacturers, alongside direct search.
“RFQ response speed decides more than the channel”
A slow quotation loses the order regardless of whether the enquiry came from search or a directory.
“Export enquiries need separate handling”
An international buyer needs different documentation and lead time information than a domestic one.
What we do
What we deliver for industrial equipment manufacturers.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Trade directory listing audit and refresh
IndiaMART and similar listings checked and updated for specification accuracy and current photographs.
Result: A directory search finds an accurate, current listing.
RFQ acknowledgement routine across channels
A same-day acknowledgement routine set up for RFQs arriving by website, email, WhatsApp or a directory.
Result: A buyer knows their RFQ was received, whichever channel it came through.
Export enquiry handling process
A separate process for international enquiries, covering the documentation and lead time detail a domestic RFQ does not need.
Result: An export buyer gets information suited to their actual purchase.
Channel source tracking on every RFQ
A simple record of which channel, search, directory or referral, each RFQ arrived through.
Result: The owner knows which channel is actually producing enquiries.
Channel performance report
A report against your baseline showing RFQ volume, response time and conversion by channel.
Result: The owner sees where to focus next month's effort.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries across channels
- Cost per enquiry overall
- Channel mix by contribution
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Where to start for a plant
Start with the listing and the page a plant engineer opens before the RFQ.
- Trade directory profile
- Complete the profile for your best-selling machine first: capacity, motor rating, material, certification, a datasheet. Record which RFQs name the directory as their source.
- One page for each machine
- Write the page for the model you quote most, with capacity range, drawings as a PDF and the certificates you hold. Note which model pages get read before an RFQ arrives.
- One RFQ register
- Keep a single sheet for every enquiry from mail, phone and WhatsApp: date received, model asked, source, date quoted, outcome. Fill it the same day the enquiry comes.
- Export enquiries
- Give overseas enquiries their own mailbox and a line on the register for country, port and terms asked. Their quotations need different paperwork and should not wait behind local ones.
- Search ads on one machine
- Once the page and register exist, test ads on a single machine with a clear capacity range. Tag each RFQ with the search term it came from before judging the spend.
- What to leave until later
- Leave out regular social media posting, company films and a full website redesign. A procurement manager asking for a given capacity will not find you there. Return to them when the register shows what sells.
Who it is for
This is written for these industrial equipment manufacturers.
- CNC machine and precision equipment manufacturers
- Industrial pump and compressor manufacturers
- Packaging machinery manufacturers
- Conveyor and material handling equipment makers
- Motor and drive manufacturers
- Custom fabrication and job-work manufacturers
- Export-oriented industrial equipment makers
- Spare parts and after-sales service providers
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- RFQs already sit unanswered in a shared inbox, so more channels would add to a backlog.
- You have no record of which source an order came from, so a spend could not be judged afterwards.
- You expect export orders from a domestic enquiry routine, which would answer them with the wrong terms.
How it works
How the digital marketing work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Agree the one aim
We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.
- 2
Check what is ready
We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.
- 3
Write the idea and the message sheet
We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.
- 4
Brief every channel from the same sheet
Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.
- 5
Run on the shared calendar
Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.
- 6
Measure as one campaign
Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

- Situation
- The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.
- What we did
- Research before design
- Wireframes and prototypes
- The full product catalogue
- An online checkout
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
