Industrial equipment manufacturers · Influencer marketing

Let a respected industry voice vouch for the equipment.

Influencer marketing for an industrial manufacturer usually means an industry expert or trade publication figure discussing the equipment, which carries more weight here than consumer-style influencers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What influencer marketing means

Influencer marketing means paying or partnering with local personalities and creators to talk about your business to their own audience. It works well where trust is built by a familiar face rather than an advert. GullySales finds creators whose audience matches your buyers and manages the brief and payment terms.

For industrial equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Industry experts outperform general influencers”

A respected consultant or engineer discussing the equipment reaches the exact buyer audience that matters.

  • “Trade publication features work like influencer content”

A feature in a sector-specific publication functions the same way a creator's review would in consumer markets.

  • “Exhibition demonstrations get filmed and reused”

A short video of an expert examining the machine at a trade show becomes ongoing content afterwards.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. List of relevant industry experts and consultants

A list of consultants, engineers or trade publication figures with real credibility in your specific machine category.

Result: Outreach reaches people your actual buyers already listen to.

  2. Trade publication feature pitch

A pitch prepared for a sector-specific publication to feature the equipment or a recent installation.

Result: A feature reaches the exact technical audience a general advert would miss.

  3. Exhibition demonstration filming plan

A plan to film an expert or engineer examining the equipment at a trade show for reuse afterwards.

Result: One exhibition moment becomes content that keeps working after the show ends.

  4. Reuse plan for expert content across channels

A plan for placing filmed or written expert commentary on the website, LinkedIn and specification pages.

Result: Credible third-party commentary reaches buyers wherever they look.

  5. Reach and enquiry report

A report against your baseline showing enquiries linked to expert or publication content.

Result: The owner sees whether expert coverage is bringing in RFQs.

How the result is measured

  • Reach per creator
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries traced to a creator

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who to work with

Choose an expert whose opinion a plant engineer or buyer would repeat in a meeting.

Independent consultants and auditors
A plant consultant or energy auditor who knows your product class can comment on it from experience. Ask them to run or watch it on a customer's floor, not only on a spec sheet.
Trade publication editors
The editor of a magazine your buyers read can feature a case you have solved. Offer a specific problem, a plant and a result the customer will vouch for, not a product brochure.
Exhibition demonstrations
At a trade fair, plan a short filmed demonstration with an expert asking questions at your stand. Book the demonstration slot and a quiet corner for sound.
The brief on specifications
Give model, capacity, power rating and certification, and say what the expert may test. Let them report what they found, even if it is less than the brochure claims.
Paid or not, say so
Experts and publications must disclose whether they are paid. Ask for a clear line in the article or video, and check any publication's rules on advertorials.
Who not to use
Skip a consumer influencer, however large. A purchase manager of a pump or press line does not take advice from a lifestyle account.

Who it is for

This is written for these industrial equipment manufacturers.

  • CNC machine and precision equipment manufacturers
  • Industrial pump and compressor manufacturers
  • Packaging machinery manufacturers
  • Conveyor and material handling equipment makers
  • Motor and drive manufacturers
  • Custom fabrication and job-work manufacturers
  • Export-oriented industrial equipment makers
  • Spare parts and after-sales service providers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no demonstration-ready machine to show, so an expert would have nothing to examine.
  • You expect a voice to speak for the machine without seeing it run or reading its documents.
  • Your approvals take so long that an expert's comment would be out of date before it went live.

How it works

How the influencer marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Define who needs to see it

We settle the buyer, the city and the language first. That decides which creators are worth approaching at all.

  2. 2

    Audit the creators

We ask for audience screenshots from the creator's own account, read the comments, and look at earlier sponsored posts to see how the audience reacted.

  3. 3

    Agree terms and brief

Fee, instalments, dates, exclusivity and paid-media rights go into one written agreement before any filming. The brief carries facts and limits, not a script.

  4. 4

    Review the draft

We check prices, claims and disclosure on the draft. Edits are about accuracy, not about changing the creator's style.

  5. 5

    Publish and trace

Posts go live on the agreed dates. Enquiries are matched to each creator's code or link and reported against the fee paid, in the format agreed in writing.

  • Burhani Hydroline

    Situation
The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.
    What we did
    • Research before design
    • Wireframes and prototypes
    • The full product catalogue
    • An online checkout
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is this common in industrial marketing?
Less common than in consumer categories, but growing as trade publications build online followings.
How do we find the right person?
We look for a real technical audience and credibility in your specific machine category, not general reach.
Is a large following important for an industry expert?
No. A consultant with a small but exact audience of plant heads and purchase managers is worth more than a famous name. Ask which companies read them, whether they speak at industry events, and whether engineers quote them.
How do I check an expert or a channel is not padded?
Look at who comments and shares, not at the headline figure. Real industry accounts get replies from named engineers at named plants. Ask for audience job titles and cities, and ask two buyers you know whether they have heard of the person.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
