Industrial equipment manufacturers · Social media

Show the machine running, not just a static product photograph.

Social media marketing for an industrial manufacturer means showing equipment in operation and delivery milestones, aimed at a technical audience rather than a consumer one.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For industrial equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Equipment in operation outperforms static shots”

A short clip of a machine running convinces a technical buyer more than a still product photograph.

  • “Plant capability content builds credibility”

Showing the manufacturing floor and quality checks reassures a buyer evaluating reliability before an RFQ.

  • “LinkedIn carries more weight here”

Procurement and engineering audiences are more reachable on LinkedIn than on image-first consumer platforms.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Equipment-in-operation video content

Short clips of machines running, filmed on the plant floor, replacing static product photographs.

Result: A technical buyer sees the equipment actually working before an RFQ.

  2. Plant capability and quality check content

Posts showing the manufacturing floor and quality checks, aimed at a buyer evaluating reliability.

Result: A buyer researching before an RFQ sees real proof of capability.

  3. LinkedIn content calendar for procurement audiences

A posting calendar built for LinkedIn, where procurement and engineering audiences are more reachable than on consumer platforms.

Result: Content reaches the people who actually issue RFQs.

  4. Delivery and installation milestone posts

Posts marking a completed delivery or installation, described without attaching client figures unless verified.

Result: Real milestones build credibility without inventing a statistic.

  5. Engagement and enquiry report

A report against your baseline showing which posts led to a profile visit, message or RFQ.

Result: The owner sees whether social content is actually producing enquiries.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Where plant engineers and buyers watch machines, and what to post for each.

LinkedIn company page
Post a machine at final testing: the model, the capacity run and the inspection done. Cover certificate numbers and customer names unless they agreed.
YouTube machine-under-load videos
Film the machine running under load with the model number in the title. Buyers search by model and capacity and watch before they ask for a quotation.
Design and service engineers on LinkedIn
Let one engineer explain a single design choice, such as why a certain motor rating or bearing was picked. Technical buyers trust the person who built it.
WhatsApp Business for dealers
Send updated brochures, specification sheets and price lists to dealers in one thread. Replace old files so no dealer quotes from a superseded sheet.
Facebook and Instagram for hiring
Use these to find technicians and apprentices, such as ITI trainees near your plant. Do not use them for selling machines.
What not to post
Do not post a customer's drawing, a nameplate with their name or a capacity the machine has not been tested at. Never post a certification you do not yet hold.

Who it is for

This is written for these industrial equipment manufacturers.

  • CNC machine and precision equipment manufacturers
  • Industrial pump and compressor manufacturers
  • Packaging machinery manufacturers
  • Conveyor and material handling equipment makers
  • Motor and drive manufacturers
  • Custom fabrication and job-work manufacturers
  • Export-oriented industrial equipment makers
  • Spare parts and after-sales service providers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no one at the plant to film a machine running.
  • Your buyers are all under non-disclosure and you cannot show any installed unit.
  • Nobody can answer a technical comment, so a post would draw questions with no reply.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm audience, platforms and access

We note which platforms your buyers use and check that the pages sit under your own business accounts, with you as owner and us as added roles.

  2. 2

    Review the current presence

We read the existing pages, the posts that drew replies and the gaps in posting.

  3. 3

    Build the calendar

Themes, formats and dates are set out for your approval, with space for offers and news.

  4. 4

    Create, approve and publish

Posts are made, approved by you and scheduled. Replies to the public are handled in your voice.

  5. 5

    Record enquiries and adjust

Enquiries are logged against the post or platform where they began, and the mix changes to follow what brings them.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

    Situation
The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.
    What we did
    • Research before design
    • Wireframes and prototypes
    • The full product catalogue
    • An online checkout
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform matters most here?
LinkedIn usually, alongside a presence on trade directories where buyers already research.
Who should manage this?
Someone familiar with the equipment, since technical accuracy matters to this audience.
Who should reply when someone asks a technical question in a comment?
An engineer who knows the machine, not the person running the account. Agree who that is in advance, and what to answer in public, such as general capacity and materials. Move requirements and drawings to a private channel.
Should our dealers share our posts?
Yes, if you give them a short pack: the approved photograph, a caption and what they may and may not claim. Ask them to credit your brand correctly, and withdraw old material when a model changes so the posts stay accurate.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
