Laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers · Search engine optimisation

Be found by the specification, not by the name on your letterhead.

Search engine optimisation for a laboratory supplier decides whether a lab in-charge typing a chamber size and a temperature range lands on your model or a competitor's. GullySales gives every instrument its own page carrying the figures a specification is written from, and breaks open the catalogue PDF that search cannot read.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search numbers, not adjectives”

A quality chemist types muffle furnace 1200 degrees. Nobody types high performance heating solution, so the page that carries the figure wins the visit.

  • “Four hundred products inside one PDF rank for nothing”

A downloadable catalogue is a dead end for search. Each model inside it needs a page of its own before it can be found.

  • “Consumables are searched by pack and fit”

A technician looking for pipette tips searches the pack size and the instrument they fit, then orders from whoever states both plainly.

What we do

What we deliver for laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page per model with the figures in the table

Each instrument gets its own page showing the working range, the accuracy and the chamber size. The figures are given in the units a purchase officer compares.

Result: A search for the number lands on your model.

  2. Consumable pages written by pack size and compatibility

Tips, filter papers, membranes and media listed by pack, grade and the instrument they fit, so a routine order can be placed without ringing anybody.

Result: The monthly reorder search ends on your page, not on a marketplace listing.

  3. The catalogue broken into pages search can read

Every model inside the PDF given its own page and a specification sheet, with the file kept for download rather than left as the only record of what you sell.

Result: Four hundred products stop hiding behind one attachment.

  4. Technical faults cleared off the site

Broken links, slow product pages and duplicate listings found and fixed, and the site checked on the phone a lab in-charge is actually searching on.

Result: A good instrument page is no longer held back by something fixable.

  5. Search enquiries reported by product group

Which instrument and consumable pages produced enquiries, set against the baseline taken before work began, so the analytical range is not judged alongside glassware.

Result: You see which part of the catalogue search is really earning.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a lab in-charge types when a specification arrives, and the page that answers it.

hot air oven 150 litre price
A model page. Give the chamber size, the temperature range, the inner material and the controller type in a table, and state whether the oven comes calibrated and what the certificate covers.
BOD incubator for water testing lab
An application page. Name the standard the test follows, the temperature stability the incubator holds, and the sizes you stock. Say what the buyer sends to get a quote and installation.
analytical balance 0.1 mg dealer
A model page. Show readability, capacity, pan size and calibration type, say whether the balance comes with an internal or external weight, and give the service route after sale.
borosilicate glassware supplier bulk
A glassware page. List the items and sizes, the glass standard stated on the product, packing, breakage terms and the minimum order for a college lab or a rate contract.
lab furniture manufacturer for new college
A project page. Show a finished lab with bench, sink and storage, the materials used for the tops, and what a principal must send: the room plan and the number of working stations.
spectrophotometer UV visible authorised dealer
A brand page. State authorisation only where you hold it, give the model range, the wavelength range as printed in the data sheet, and the installation and training that come with the purchase.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before a new instrument page brings enquiries?
Months for a crowded category such as incubators, sooner for an unusual model with few sellers in India. Consumable pages move first, because fewer suppliers bother to write them.
Should we write pages for products we stock only occasionally?
No. Write for what you can quote, deliver and service, starting with the instruments you want more of. A page for a line you will not supply brings enquiries you then have to refuse.
Should we publish the manufacturer's data sheet on our page?
Link to it, but also write the key figures as text on your page. A search engine and a lab in-charge both read text faster than a PDF. Add what the brand sheet leaves out: stock, installation and your service route.
Should a page carry the price of the instrument?
Where a model has a stable price, a starting price helps. For imported or tender-driven items, state that the price depends on the configuration and ask for the specification. Never leave a rate on a page that you cannot honour.
A tender's specification matches a competitor's model exactly. Can anything be done?
Raise a pre-bid query inside the window, with the technical reason the clause should be made generic. That works sometimes. The real answer sits months earlier, when the professor or lab in-charge is drafting the specification, and that is when your instrument has to be on the table.
Do we have to be on GeM?
For government colleges, hospitals and departments, yes, and the OEM authorisation has to be in order before you bid rather than after. Private testing labs and most diagnostic chains still buy on three quotations. Both routes need watching, because they run on different calendars.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
