Laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers · Social media

Two minutes of the instrument running answers what a brochure cannot.

Social media for a laboratory supplier is not an audience. It is short demonstration videos a lab in-charge watches before asking for a visit, and a presence where quality heads and research staff already read. GullySales plans what your engineers record during installations and writes the posts that reach a plant's quality team.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Film the installation you are doing anyway”

An engineer with a phone at a commissioning has a month of posts by lunchtime, provided the institution has agreed in writing first.

  • “LinkedIn reaches the quality head and Instagram does not”

Plant quality managers and research staff are on one of them. Put the effort there and let the other run on installation photographs.

  • “A method gets forwarded, an offer gets ignored”

A water hardness test run on your photometer travels inside a department. A discount post stops at the person who saw it.

What we do

What we deliver for laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A recording routine for installations and demonstrations

What the engineer films, from what angle and with whose permission, turned into a short checklist that travels in the service bag.

Result: Footage arrives without anybody making a special trip.

  2. A company page and engineer profiles that name instruments

Your page and your engineers' profiles written with the instruments, brands and lab types you handle, instead of the phrase lab equipment supplier.

Result: A quality head searching a make finds a person who services it.

  3. One video per priority instrument

The chamber, the controller, a run and the calibration step, filmed in your demonstration room so no customer permission is needed.

Result: A buyer comparing two makes sees yours working.

  4. A posting plan tied to the college and audit calendar

Practical season, accreditation assessments and the pre-budget months given their own posts, rather than a fixed three a week about nothing.

Result: Posts land when somebody has a reason to care.

  5. Comments and messages routed into the enquiry register

A rule for who answers a message asking for a rate, and how it gets logged with the department and the item before anybody replies.

Result: An enquiry that arrived as a comment is not lost as a comment.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Where lab buyers watch instruments, and what to post for each.

YouTube instrument demonstrations
Unpack, install, run a sample and read the result on one instrument. Put the model and the method in the title, such as moisture analysis, because lab in-charges search that way.
LinkedIn company page and engineers' profiles
Post an installation at a college or quality lab with the instrument and the method it runs. Quality heads and research staff follow people who explain methods.
WhatsApp Business catalogue by category
Split glassware, consumables and instruments, with catalogue number and pack size for each. Labs forward the link to their purchase officer.
Posts for NABL-accredited labs
Post a calibration and service reminder aimed at labs preparing for an audit, naming the instruments you service. Say what paperwork you provide after a calibration.
Google Business Profile posts
Post stock of common consumables and the brands you hold. A lab out of a reagent searches nearby and calls the first one with it in stock.
What not to post
Do not post a customer lab's samples, data screens or staff, or claim accuracy beyond the instrument's datasheet. Do not show an instrument you cannot supply.

Who it is for

This is written for these laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers.

  • Laboratory instrument dealers and distributors
  • Authorised importers of foreign scientific instruments
  • Scientific glassware and plasticware suppliers
  • Chemical, reagent and culture media suppliers
  • Consumables and disposables suppliers on monthly reorder
  • Indian makers of ovens, incubators, furnaces and water baths
  • Lab furniture, fume hood and clean room suppliers
  • Calibration, service and maintenance contractors
  • Turnkey lab set-up contractors for new colleges and hospitals

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will a professor really watch a video of an oven?
The one comparing two makes will. They want to see the chamber, the controller and the ramp rate. Audience size is not the measure here, the viewer is.
Can we post photographs taken inside a customer's lab?
Only with written permission from the institution, and many will refuse. Film your own demonstration room or the pre-despatch test instead.
Who should film the demonstration, our engineer or an outside person?
Your application engineer should run it, because they know where users go wrong. A colleague with a phone on a tripod is enough. Fix a short checklist: what the instrument does, setup, one real sample and the result. Hire a videographer only for a product launch.
Can we post a comparison with a competitor's instrument?
Compare only on published datasheet figures and name the method, not the competitor. Do not run down another brand or claim a result you have not measured. Buyers and the other brand will both read it, so keep every statement checkable.
A tender's specification matches a competitor's model exactly. Can anything be done?
Raise a pre-bid query inside the window, with the technical reason the clause should be made generic. That works sometimes. The real answer sits months earlier, when the professor or lab in-charge is drafting the specification, and that is when your instrument has to be on the table.
Do we have to be on GeM?
For government colleges, hospitals and departments, yes, and the OEM authorisation has to be in order before you bid rather than after. Private testing labs and most diagnostic chains still buy on three quotations. Both routes need watching, because they run on different calendars.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
