Laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the purchase officer's search, not the student's project query.

Pay per click advertising puts your instruments in front of a laboratory on the day a specification is being typed, which is rarely the month the order is placed. GullySales runs the campaigns by product group, blocks the course and job searches that drain the budget, and judges spend on quotations rather than clicks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Model numbers convert, categories do not”

An advert on a model number reaches somebody comparing two makes. One on lab equipment reaches a student writing a project report.

  • “The click and the order sit two quarters apart”

A search in July becomes a purchase order in March, so a campaign judged on the same month's sales always looks like a failure.

  • “Consumables can be advertised the way instruments cannot”

A pack of tips is bought on the spot. A spectrophotometer needs a demonstration first, so the advert's only job is to get that demonstration booked.

What we do

What we deliver for laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split by product group

Analytical instruments, general lab equipment, glassware and consumables run separately with their own budgets, because one enquiry is worth many times another.

Result: Cheap consumable clicks stop eating the money meant for instruments.

  2. A negative keyword list for searches that never buy

Blocks on lab technician jobs, project work, syllabus, second hand and the price-only searches that come from students and hobby buyers.

Result: You stop paying for people who cannot raise a purchase order.

  3. A landing page offering a demonstration and a sheet

Each advert lands on the instrument's page with the specification sheet to download and a demonstration request, since a committee buyer will not ring a stranger first.

Result: The click leaves you with a contact and a document trail.

  4. Spend raised in the months specifications are written

Budget lifted from June to September, while departments plan courses and draft clauses, and held steady in the March rush when the list is already fixed.

Result: You are advertising while the specification is still open.

  5. Spend read against quotations and orders

Every enquiry from an advert tagged into the quotation register, so the report shows bids and orders behind the spend, not click counts.

Result: You can say what a demonstration from search costs you.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches a lab buyer types when a specification is open, and the ones that bring only students.

Instrument model and make, such as autoclave, muffle furnace or BOD incubator
Bid. A buyer naming an instrument is preparing a quotation request. Give each instrument family its own ad group and put the capacity range in the advert, so the specification matches before the click.
Glassware, reagents and consumables by catalogue name
Bid. A lab restocking a reagent or glassware item buys often and repeats. Land the click on a page with grade, pack size and a reorder form, and ask which institution it is.
Lab for sale, second hand and price list pdf
Block second hand and price list pdf unless you sell them. People wanting a free price list rarely send a requirement. Offer a quote form in place of a downloadable catalogue.
Project, experiment, viva and diagram
Block. Students searching how an instrument works type the same names. Add experiment, viva, diagram, working, principle, project, ppt and pdf as negatives.
Where the click lands
Send it to the item's page with the specification, make and a request-for-quotation form that asks institution, quantity and delivery town. A catalogue home page makes a purchaser scroll.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a form with an institution name and quantity, or a call from a lab or purchase department. Record whether it came as a tender or a direct quote, and mark which ones reached an order.

Who it is for

This is written for these laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers.

  • Laboratory instrument dealers and distributors
  • Authorised importers of foreign scientific instruments
  • Scientific glassware and plasticware suppliers
  • Chemical, reagent and culture media suppliers
  • Consumables and disposables suppliers on monthly reorder

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is Google Ads worth it when tenders decide everything?
For consumables and small instruments, yes. For a committee purchase an advert seldom wins the order, though it does put your specification sheet on the desk of whoever drafts the clause.
We sell across three states. Where should the adverts run?
In the districts your service engineer can reach within a day. A buyer in a town you cannot attend to for a fortnight will ask about service, and the enquiry ends there.
Should we bid on competing suppliers' names?
Generally leave them alone. A buyer comparing named suppliers is already in a tender or a quotation round, and a bid there adds little. Hold your own name, and put effort into model and specification searches instead.
Can advertising help us sell consumables, or only instruments?
Consumables suit adverts better, because the buyer reorders and the item can be named exactly. Instruments often go through a tender. Advertise the consumable range for lab managers, and use the instrument pages to catch named-model searches.
A tender's specification matches a competitor's model exactly. Can anything be done?
Raise a pre-bid query inside the window, with the technical reason the clause should be made generic. That works sometimes. The real answer sits months earlier, when the professor or lab in-charge is drafting the specification, and that is when your instrument has to be on the table.
Do we have to be on GeM?
For government colleges, hospitals and departments, yes, and the OEM authorisation has to be in order before you bid rather than after. Private testing labs and most diagnostic chains still buy on three quotations. Both routes need watching, because they run on different calendars.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
