Printing businesses · Pay per click advertising

Bid on the jobs with margin, not on the visiting cards you lose on price.

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising for a printing business buys the enquiries worth having: packaging runs, large format and urgent work with a deadline. GullySales builds campaigns around those job types, keeps them running in shop hours, and counts the orders rather than the clicks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of printing businesses at work in India

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For printing businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Online printers will always outbid you on visiting cards”

A national printer can pay more for that click than the job is worth to your press, so the budget belongs on packaging, signage and next-day work.

  • “The buyer is on a deadline, so the phone must be answered”

An enquiry for a banner needed tomorrow is worth nothing if the advertisement runs at midnight and the call reaches a switched-off phone.

  • “One campaign cannot cover a wedding card and a monocarton”

A family printing invitations and a factory buying cartons have different budgets and different words, and mixing them wastes both.

What we do

What we deliver for printing businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split by job type

Separate campaigns for packaging, large format, invitations and corporate stationery, each with its own words and daily budget.

Result: Spend moves to the job type that returns it.

  2. Ads scheduled to shop hours

Search ads running only when someone is at the counter to answer, with call buttons on mobile results.

Result: A deadline enquiry reaches a person, not a voicemail.

  3. Negative keyword work

Searches for printer cartridges, printing jobs, printer repair and home printers excluded, since they cost money and never become orders.

Result: Your budget stops paying for the wrong kind of search.

  4. Landing pages carrying specifications

Each campaign pointed at a page showing samples, paper options, minimum quantity and turnaround for that exact job.

Result: The click lands on the answer the buyer wanted.

  5. Order tracking against ad spend

Every ad enquiry logged with the job type, the quantity and whether it became an order, reviewed against the baseline taken at the start.

Result: You know the cost of a packaging order, not the cost of a click.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches from a business needing print, and the ones from people who want the cheapest visiting card online.

Printing press near me and offset printing, plus the area
Bid. A business wanting brochures or stationery wants a local press it can visit. Put your area and the job types you do in the advert, and add a call button.
Wedding cards, invitation printing and card design
Bid before the wedding season, on its own campaign. A family wants to see samples and fix a date. Ask the number of cards and the event date, and show real card photos.
Visiting cards online, cheap and one day
Block, or bid only on one narrow offer. Online printers will outbid you, and most buyers want the lowest price. Add cheap, online, one day, template and design as negatives.
Printing jobs, printing course, machine and free design
Block. Add job, operator, course, machine, second hand, free, template and download as negatives. Job seekers and machine buyers type your words.
Where the click lands
Send it to a page for the job type with sample prints and a form that takes the size, quantity and artwork file. A buyer on a deadline wants to send the file and get a quote.
Counting a real enquiry
Count an enquiry with a size, a quantity and a date, or a call asking for a quote on a named job. Log it, and mark which ones became a proof and a paid order.

This is written for these printing businesses.

  • Commercial offset printing businesses
  • Digital and quick-print shops

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much should a print shop put into ads?
Enough to test two job types properly for a few months, which we size against your average order value after the first conversation. Your media spend is billed to you separately from our fee, so you can see what the platform took.
Are ads worth it for wedding invitations?
For the season, yes. Families search in a concentrated few months and compare designs before visiting. Outside that window the same money does better on packaging and corporate work.
Should we keep a separate number for adverts?
Yes. A separate number or a WhatsApp link per campaign lets you count calls from adverts. Answer both with the same care, and log each call as a quote, a job or a wrong number, so you see which campaigns bring paid work.
Is it worth bidding on printing-related words for corporate stationery?
If you want repeat business accounts, yes, on a small budget. A company buying letterheads and forms reorders. Ask the company name and the items on the form, and treat the first order as the start of an account.
Do we need to advertise?
Not for urgent jobs, which are won on a fast quote and visible samples. Ads help for a specific push, such as wedding invitations from October or a new packaging line.
Should we check the label text a food brand sends us?
Yes, before the plates are made. Point out a missing FSSAI licence number, net quantity or MRP, even though the brand is responsible for them. A reprint costs both of you, and the brand remembers the printer who caught it.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
