Business networking organizations · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for the invitation and the reminder, and keep the chapter group for members.

WhatsApp marketing for a networking group is the use of chats and broadcasts to invite guests, confirm attendance and keep members informed. GullySales works on the message wording, the list consent and the line between member groups and guest messages.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For business networking organizations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The chapter already lives on WhatsApp”

Members coordinate meetings, share referrals and chase attendance in group chats. That habit is an asset, and it also means the guest's first contact with the chapter is a chat message.

  • “A guest should not be added to a group unasked”

Adding a prospect to a member group without consent is intrusive and ends the conversation. A personal message offering a visit, with the group joined only after they agree, respects them.

  • “A busy group buries the one message that matters”

Notices, jokes and forwards push the meeting reminder out of sight. A separate broadcast or announcement channel for meeting details keeps the day, place and seat message visible.

  • “A forwarded flyer carries no trust”

A poster circulated across forwards reaches strangers with no personal link. An invitation from a named member, in a personal chat, carries the introduction that a flyer cannot.

What we do

What we deliver for business networking organizations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An invitation message by trade

A short WhatsApp text for each vacant seat, naming the member who suggested the guest and offering one visit.

Result: Each invitation reads as a personal introduction.

  2. A reminder sequence for the meeting day

A set of messages confirming the day, place, entrance and who will receive the guest.

Result: The guest arrives knowing where to go.

  3. A consent and opt-out note

A line asking permission to message a guest and a clear way to stop, recorded against the guest in the CRM.

Result: Only guests who agreed receive broadcasts.

  4. Group rules for the member chat

A short written code on what goes in the group, what does not, and how referrals are logged outside the chat.

Result: The group stays useful instead of noisy.

  5. A WhatsApp Business setup

A profile with the chapter name, meeting day, address and a greeting that explains how to book a visit.

Result: A guest who messages the chapter gets a clear first reply.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use a broadcast list or a group?
Use a broadcast list for guests, so replies are private and nobody sees another's number. Keep groups for members who joined knowingly. Check the platform's current rules on bulk messaging.
Can members forward the invitation to their contacts?
Yes, if the message is written to be forwarded and carries the chapter page link. Ask members to add a personal line, since a note from a known person is the one a stranger opens.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
