Animation studios · Search engine optimisation

Appear in search when a buyer types the exact kind of animation they need.

SEO for an animation studio means writing and structuring pages so a buyer searching for an explainer, a product film or a lesson animation finds your studio and its samples. GullySales plans the pages around the briefs you want, then builds them so the samples and the process are readable by search and by people.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For animation studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by purpose, not by studio”

A founder types the kind of video needed for a product launch, not 'animation studio'. A showreel page titled 'Our work' does not answer that search. A page named for the purpose and holding a matching sample does.

  • “Video samples hide the words search reads”

A page that is only an embedded reel carries almost no text. Search has nothing to read, and a buyer has no idea what the brief was. A short written note on each piece, covering the aim, the audience and the format, gives the page something to rank on.

  • “One style page cannot serve every buyer”

A single 'Services' page that lists 2D, 3D, motion graphics and whiteboard in one paragraph competes for none of them. Separate pages, each with its own samples and process note, let each search find the right one.

  • “The buyer compares process before price”

Searchers also look up how an explainer is made, what a storyboard is and how revisions work. A studio that publishes plain answers is found early in the search and is trusted when the quote arrives.

What we do

What we deliver for animation studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A map of searches by brief

A list of the searches buyers use for each style and purpose, mapped to a page that answers it.

Result: A sheet pairing every target search with one page, so no two pages compete for the same phrase.

  2. Style and purpose pages

Pages for explainers, product animation, lesson animation, motion graphics and any other style you want, each with written notes beside its samples.

Result: Each page carries text, samples and a form, readable without playing the video.

  3. Process and glossary pages

Plain pages on script, storyboard, animatic, voice, revisions and source files.

Result: Pages a first-time client can read before the first call.

  4. Technical clean-up

Page titles, descriptions, headings, image text and loading of embedded video checked and corrected.

Result: A checked list of titles and headings, one per page, with video embeds that do not block the page.

  5. Sample page notes

A short written note for each portfolio piece: the brief, the audience, the approach and the format.

Result: Every piece in the portfolio has a note beside it.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does posting our reel on video platforms replace SEO?
No. A video platform helps a buyer see the work, but your own pages hold the process, the inclusions and the form. Both are useful, and the pages are where an enquiry is captured.
Can you promise a first-page ranking?
No. Search results depend on competition and on the search engine, and nobody can promise a position. We build the pages properly and report which searches bring visits and enquiries.
Should our blog cover animation trends?
Write for the buyer, not for other animators. A post on how to brief an animator or what goes into an explainer script helps a client. A post about a software update attracts other artists, who do not commission.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
