Aquaculture companies · WhatsApp marketing

Use the app farmers already open to answer, remind and record, with permission.

WhatsApp marketing for an aquaculture company is using WhatsApp to take farmer enquiries, send programme information and keep buyers informed, with each person's agreement. GullySales works on the number, the messages and the log, and leaves the platform's own rules to the platform.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For aquaculture companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Farmers already live on the app”

A farmer sends a voice note, a photograph of the pond and a question. A company that answers there in the same form is easier to reach than one that asks for a form on a website.

  • “Group chats spread both good and bad news”

A farmer group helps a programme grow and also carries a complaint to every member at once. The company needs a clear rule for who speaks in the group.

  • “One personal number per officer fails”

If enquiries arrive on an officer's own phone, they go with the officer. The company needs a business number that the team can share and the manager can see.

  • “Broadcasts without consent lose farmers”

Sending offers to a farmer who never agreed breeds irritation. Check the platform's current rules, and keep a record of who opted in and when.

What we do

What we deliver for aquaculture companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number for farmer enquiries

A single number with a greeting in the local language and a fixed set of questions that gather village, pond size and species.

Result: Every enquiry on the number lands in the log.

  2. Opt-in record

A simple note of who agreed to messages, in what language, and through which route.

Result: A list of consented farmers you can show if asked.

  3. Message library

Approved messages for programme information, visit confirmations, harvest dates and thanks, in the district language.

Result: Officers send approved wording, not improvised promises.

  4. Farmer group rules

Who may post, what is posted, how complaints are taken offline and how a member leaves.

Result: A group with written rules that members have seen.

  5. Buyer update channel

A separate, lighter route for processors and chains, with volume notes and quality records on request.

Result: Buyers get information in a form their purchase team can forward.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we use WhatsApp to send disease or treatment advice?
Take care. Rules on medicines and chemicals for fish differ by state and body. Send guidance your own adviser has approved, and ask the farmer to call for a visit where a pond is in trouble.
Should officers use their own phones?
Better to use a company number that several people can see. Where an officer must use a personal phone, move the conversation to the shared log the same day.
How many messages are too many?
There is no fixed count. Send when the farmer needs to know something, such as a visit or a stocking date, and stop when the message becomes noise. Watch for farmers leaving the group.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.
