ClimateTech startups · CRM

Keep every site, pilot and quote in one record an investor can read.

A CRM for a ClimateTech startup is a shared record of every buyer, site, consultant and stage, so a long purchase does not live in a founder's memory. GullySales works on setting up the fields, stages and habits that make that record true.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What CRM means

A CRM is the record where every enquiry, call and quote is kept against a customer, replacing separate notebooks, spreadsheets and memory. GullySales sets up or cleans an existing CRM and reports from it by enquiry outcome rather than by activity logged.

For ClimateTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A pilot is not a stage until you define it”

If the sheet says only lead, quote and won, a site on its third month of pilot looks the same as one that never replied. Separate stages for site visit, pilot running, pilot reviewed and quote issued show where each buyer is stuck.

  • “One account has many people”

The plant head, the finance head and the consultant all matter, and a record that holds only one contact loses the others. Keep each person on the account with their role, so a change in who is pushing is visible.

  • “Conversations scatter over chat and email”

Warm leads sit in WhatsApp threads, inboxes and visiting cards. Until they are entered in one place, nobody can say which are real buyers. The investor's question about pipeline gets answered from guesswork.

  • “The record should name the next step”

A pipeline of names with no next action is a contact list. Each account needs a dated next step and an owner. Without them, a stalled pilot goes unnoticed until the buyer's attention has moved on.

What we do

What we deliver for ClimateTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Stages built for a pilot-led sale

Stages such as enquiry, sizing received, site visit, pilot, review, quote and order, with an exit rule for each.

Result: Every account sits in one clearly defined stage.

  2. Account and contact fields

Fields for site, industry, load or volume, current cost, trigger and each person's role.

Result: The record holds the facts a quote needs.

  3. A source and partner field

Marking each account by how it arrived, including which consultant or EPC firm introduced it.

Result: You can see which partners produce real sites.

  4. An investor-readable pipeline view

A summary of accounts by stage and industry, drawn from the records.

Result: A pipeline slide that matches the sheet.

  5. A short guide to using it

One page for the team on what to enter after each call, and who owns each field.

Result: A habit the team can keep without reminders.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the CRM work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3 · you are here

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need paid CRM software?
Not at the start. A well-structured sheet or a free plan of a common CRM tool can hold a small pipeline. We recommend moving to proper software when the number of accounts and people makes the sheet hard to keep true.
Who should update it?
Whoever had the conversation, on the same day. A record updated later from memory loses the details that matter. We set the habit with the team and keep the fields few enough to fill quickly.
Can it include consultants?
Yes, as their own accounts linked to the sites they introduced. That shows which intermediaries bring serious leads and which only pass names.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
