ClimateTech startups · Digital marketing

Join search, LinkedIn, email and partners into one route from pilot to purchase.

Digital marketing for a ClimateTech startup is the combined use of search, LinkedIn, email, partner channels and a clear website to reach buyers who decide slowly. GullySales works on choosing the few channels your buyers use and recording what each one produces.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For ClimateTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Pick channels by where the buyer looks”

A plant head searches Google for a cost problem, a sustainability lead reads LinkedIn and a consultant answers a direct message. Running all of them thinly helps nobody. Choose the two or three your target buyers use and do those well.

  • “Digital supports a long sale, it does not close it”

A page, an email or an ad starts the conversation and carries proof. The site visit and the pilot do the convincing. Planning the marketing around that handover keeps expectations realistic and the founder's time on the right accounts.

  • “Paid ads suit some problems only”

Where buyers already search for a named cost problem, an ad and a matching page can bring in enquiries. For a new solution that nobody types into search, the money is better spent on outreach and partner introductions.

  • “A campaign without records teaches nothing”

If enquiries are not tagged by source, you cannot tell whether the expo, the consultant or the search page produced the site visit. Tag each enquiry on arrival and read the tags before deciding where to spend.

What we do

What we deliver for ClimateTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan

A short document naming the channels chosen for each buyer type, with the reason and the job each is expected to do.

Result: A plan that says what each channel is for.

  2. Search and LinkedIn campaign set-up

Campaigns built around buyer problems, pointing to matching pages and the sizing form, within each platform's current rules.

Result: Campaigns tied to problems your buyers actually have.

  3. An email sequence for warm leads

A short run of emails sharing a pilot note, an explainer and an invitation to a site visit.

Result: Each warm lead receives useful material in order.

  4. Source tracking

Tags on forms, links and phone enquiries so that every lead has a recorded origin.

Result: Each enquiry can be traced to a channel.

  5. A review of what produced visits

A read of the records to show which channels led to site visits and pilots, not only enquiries.

Result: Spending decisions based on visits, not clicks.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small startup start?
With a page for the problem your pilot solved, a sizing form and a LinkedIn profile that explains the offer. Add outreach to the pilot's neighbours next. Spread across more channels only once these produce conversations.
How much should we spend on ads?
That depends on your sales cycle and margins, which we would look at together. We do not set a budget before seeing whether a search page converts. A small test on one problem tells you more than a large plan.
Do you report on results?
We share what your forms, tools and records show: enquiries, sources, visits and pilots. We do not promise leads or orders, because buyer deadlines and competitors sit outside any channel plan.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
