Cold-chain fish distributors · Digital marketing

Put the online basics in place so a buyer who looks you up finds a supplier.

Digital marketing for a fish distributor is the set of online basics a buyer checks before a first order: a website, a map listing, WhatsApp and a few paid or unpaid ways to be seen. GullySales works on putting those in order and recording what each one brings.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For cold-chain fish distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The buyer checks you online before a trial”

A purchase head told about your firm by a neighbour looks you up. A map entry, a page and a phone number answer whether you are a real supplier. With the basics missing, the buyer picks the supplier who did turn up.

  • “Paid ads suit a narrow job”

Ads on search or social can reach kitchens in a delivery area, but a wide audience wastes spend on households you do not serve. If ads are used, limit them to your service areas and to trade buyers, and keep the budget small until enquiries are recorded.

  • “Channels need one record”

Enquiries arrive from a map, a post, a form and a visit. If each lands in a different phone, nobody can say which brought the account. A single enquiry record with a source column is the base for every later decision.

  • “Online does not replace the visit”

A new buyer still wants to see the cold room and meet the driver. Digital work opens the door; the visit and the trial lot close it. Make the two join up, with the salesman carrying the message the buyer saw online.

What we do

What we deliver for cold-chain fish distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Online basics audit

A check of website, map listing, social profiles and WhatsApp business profile.

Result: A list of what exists, what is wrong and what is missing.

  2. Channel choice

Which channels fit your buyers and your capacity to reply.

Result: A short note naming the channels chosen and those left out.

  3. Enquiry source record

A sheet or CRM field showing where each enquiry came from.

Result: Every new account carries its source.

  4. Small paid trial, if chosen

A limited ad test aimed at your service areas, with a budget you set.

Result: A record of spend set against enquiries recorded.

  5. Review of results

Enquiries and new accounts by channel, taken from your records.

Result: A table of channels against new accounts.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small distributor start?
Start with the map listing and the WhatsApp business profile, since buyers meet those first. Add a website page and posts after. Spend on ads only when you can record where enquiries come from.
Do we need to be on every platform?
No. Being everywhere with nobody answering costs more than being on two platforms with a named person replying. Choose where your buyers are and do those well.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
