Fish hatcheries · Content marketing

Answer what a farmer asks before stocking, and the hatchery becomes the one they trust.

Content marketing for a fish hatchery is writing and filming the answers to what farmers ask before they buy seed, so the hatchery is trusted before the first call. GullySales works on the topics, the plain language and the record of facts behind each piece.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For fish hatcheries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Farmers ask the same dozen questions every season”

Which species for this water, how big a fingerling to stock, how to carry it home, when to release it. Your staff answer these by phone every day, which means the content already exists and only needs to be written down.

  • “Advice that overreaches becomes a liability”

Telling a farmer how much a pond will produce or how to treat a disease steps into territory that belongs to the pond and to a fisheries expert. Write about your own seed and handling, and send health questions to the right adviser.

  • “A good explainer becomes a sales tool for resellers”

A trader who can hand a farmer a clear sheet on carrying and releasing seed looks more reliable. The same sheet reduces the number of calls from farmers who lost fingerlings through poor handling.

  • “Language decides who reads it”

A technical note in English reaches officials and companies, but the farmer reads a local language and may listen rather than read. The same content then needs a spoken or short video form.

What we do

What we deliver for fish hatcheries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of questions from your own calls

The questions staff are asked, gathered across a season and sorted by species and stage.

Result: A written list that decides what to publish next.

  2. Short guides on collecting and carrying seed

Plain guides on what to bring, how bags are packed and what to do on arrival, written from your own practice.

Result: A farmer arriving to collect knows what to bring.

  3. A species sheet for each fish you sell

Size, ready dates, what you can say about the seed and what the farmer should ask about their own pond.

Result: Each species has a sheet staff and resellers can hand out.

  4. Short videos at the tanks

A staff member or the owner speaking to camera at the nursery, in the local language.

Result: A farmer can see and hear who they are buying from.

  5. A fact check before publishing

Every statement checked against your batch record or sent to a qualified adviser before it goes out.

Result: Nothing is published that you cannot back with a record.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who should write for a hatchery?
The person who answers farmers' calls knows the questions best. We interview them, write the first version in plain words and have the owner check it against the facts before anything is published.
Should we give health advice for fish?
No, not beyond what your own handling covers. Disease and treatment questions belong to a fisheries expert or veterinarian, and rules differ by state, so check with your own adviser and point farmers to them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
