Fish hatcheries · Social media

Show the seed, the tanks and the farmers who stock it, where farmers already scroll.

Social media marketing for a fish hatchery is showing the work behind the seed on the platforms where farmers, traders and young fish keepers already spend their time. GullySales works on what to show, in which language and on which platform, without invented results.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For fish hatcheries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Farmers watch video and skip text”

A short clip of the nursery pond, the counting of fingerlings or the packing of oxygen bags tells a farmer more than a paragraph. The platform that carries it is the one the farmers in your district actually open.

  • “Pond photographs are proof only when they are honest”

A photograph of a harvest invites the question of how, with what feed, in which water. Show what happened and say whose pond it was, with the farmer's consent, and leave out any claim about yield.

  • “The audience is farmers and resellers, not the general public”

Ornamental breeders may reach hobbyists, but a carp hatchery needs the farmers in four or five blocks. Posting to everyone spends effort on people who will never collect a bag.

  • “A feed that goes quiet in the off season loses the next one”

Farmers remember who was visible when the season began. A hatchery that posts only at the rush appears to vanish between seasons, while a calm record of the work keeps the name in view.

What we do

What we deliver for fish hatcheries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page or channel on the right platform

One or two platforms chosen from where your farmers already are, set up with your name, location and a contact for bookings.

Result: Your name is found on the same platform your buyers use.

  2. A list of what to show

Spawning, nursery, grading, packing, loading and farmer visits, each noted as a subject with the permissions needed.

Result: Staff know what to photograph on an ordinary working day.

  3. Posts in the farmer's language

Short captions in the local language with the species name farmers use.

Result: A farmer reads the caption without help.

  4. A consent routine for farmer pictures

A simple written permission from any farmer who appears in a picture or story.

Result: Every farmer shown has agreed on paper.

  5. A booking route on every post

A phone number or message link for bookings, and a note of which post brought which enquiry.

Result: Enquiries are counted against the post they came from.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to post every day?
No. A steady, honest record of the work beats a daily flood. We agree a rhythm your staff can keep, because a feed that stops mid-season does more harm than one that posts less.
Can we advertise growth or harvest results?
We advise against it. Results depend on the pond, feed and management, and you cannot trace them. Show the seed, the process and the farmer's own words with consent, and check rules with your fisheries adviser.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
