Granite quarry companies · Search engine optimisation

Make your quarry the page a processor finds when searching for a granite colour.

SEO for a granite quarry means building pages that appear when a buyer searches for a granite variety, a block size or a supplier of that stone. GullySales works on colour pages, honest photographs and the details a search engine and a buyer both need to trust the page.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For granite quarry companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by trade name of the stone”

Processors and traders type the commercial name of a granite, often with block or supplier beside it. A quarry that never writes that name on a page of its own cannot appear for the search, however good the hill is.

  • “A shared PDF is invisible to search”

Quarries send a catalogue on WhatsApp and nothing else. A buyer who has only heard the name and searches for it finds the pages of other quarries. Text and photographs on a real page give search something to read.

  • “Thin pages lose to detailed ones”

A page with one photograph and the word granite says nothing a buyer can judge. A page naming the colour, the block sizes, the finish options, the loading point and the yard location answers the questions a buyer would otherwise phone to ask.

What we do

What we deliver for granite quarry companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each colour

A page per granite variety with daylight photographs, block sizes, uses and an enquiry form.

Result: Each colour you cut has its own findable page.

  2. Search wording from buyer calls

A list of the names and phrases buyers use for your stone, taken from your own enquiries and calls.

Result: Page wording matches how your buyers ask.

  3. Photograph captions and descriptions

Plain captions that name the colour, the block and the scale used in each image.

Result: Images carry the information a buyer scans for.

  4. Company and location details

A clear about page with the yard location, the stone you cut and the contact route for buyers.

Result: A buyer can confirm who you are and where the yard is.

  5. Search report from your own pages

A readout of which pages were found and which searches reached them.

Result: You see which colours buyers find and which they do not.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How long before we appear on Google?
We cannot say, and nobody honest can. Rankings depend on competing pages and on the search itself. We build the pages carefully and read the search results with you, then improve what the readout shows.
Do competitors' pages matter?
Yes, because buyers compare. We look at how other quarries present the same colour and make sure yours says more that is true: sizes, photographs and what a buyer should send with an enquiry.
Can we use a colour name another quarry also uses?
Trade names for granite are shared across quarries. Use the name buyers know, and show your own stone beside it with real photographs, so the buyer sees your block and not just the word.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
