Home service franchise networks · WhatsApp marketing

Put booking, technician details and reminders on the app the resident already opens.

WhatsApp marketing for a home service network is the use of WhatsApp Business to take bookings, confirm visits and remind customers of repeat work. GullySales works on message flows and rules that keep the brand number in front of the customer and the franchisee out of their personal chats.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For home service franchise networks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The resident prefers a message to a call”

Someone in a meeting or a lift will send a message with a photo of the leaking tap, where a call is impossible. A WhatsApp route takes that booking.

  • “Photos make the quote”

A picture of the AC unit, the stain or the pest signs lets the franchise give a price band before the visit. Without a way to receive photos, the technician arrives unprepared.

  • “Franchisees use personal numbers”

Customers save the technician's mobile and message them next time. The brand loses the relationship, and the franchisee's phone becomes the booking system.

  • “Broadcasts to the wrong list annoy people”

A reminder about a service the customer did not buy, or a franchise pitch sent to a customer list, damages trust in the brand number.

What we do

What we deliver for home service franchise networks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Brand number set-up

A WhatsApp Business profile with catalogue of services, price bands, hours and greeting.

Result: The resident sees the offer on opening the chat.

  2. Booking flow

Questions for service, pincode, preferred slot and photo, ending in a confirmation and a booking reference.

Result: A booking in chat reaches the territory list.

  3. Technician details message

A message with the technician's name, ID and expected arrival window, sent once a franchisee accepts.

Result: The customer knows who is coming.

  4. Reminder templates

Approved templates for repeat services, with opt-in recorded at booking.

Result: Reminders go only to customers who agreed.

  5. Franchisee usage rules

A short rule on using the brand number for customer chats and keeping personal numbers out.

Result: Customer chats sit with the brand.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is the WhatsApp Business app enough?
For a small network it is a start. As bookings grow, the WhatsApp Business Platform with an approved provider handles routing and templates. Check the platform's current rules and fees.
Can we message customers about offers?
Only those who have agreed, using approved templates. Keep offers relevant to the service they bought, and give a simple way to stop messages.
Should the franchise sales team use the same number?
Use a separate number. Candidates and customers have different questions, and mixing them overloads the booking chat.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
