HRTech startups · Digital marketing

Join search, content, outreach and ads into one path from stranger to signed customer.

Digital marketing for an HRTech startup is the combined work of search, content, social, email, messaging and paid ads, aimed at HR users and the people who pay. GullySales plans these as one path, tracks it end to end and drops the parts that do not produce signed customers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For HRTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels run alone and nobody sees the path”

Search, a webinar and a cold email may each take credit for the same signed customer. Without one record that follows a company from first touch to contract, spending is judged by guesswork.

  • “Paid ads need a narrow target”

Broad ads on HR terms bring students, job seekers and competitors. Ads aimed at a named segment, such as contract-labour payroll in one state, keep the audience closer to real buyers.

  • “The website, the call and the demo must say the same thing”

A buyer who clicks an ad about payroll for factories and lands on a general HR page loses the thread. Every step carries the same promise forward, in the same words.

  • “Marketing and sales blame each other”

Sales says leads are weak; marketing says follow-up is slow. A shared definition of a good lead, written down and reviewed, ends the argument and shows where the gap is.

What we do

What we deliver for HRTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An integrated plan by segment

A plan that sets out, for each segment, the channels, the message and the next step for the buyer.

Result: One page per segment, showing the whole path.

  2. Tracking from first touch to contract

Source tags, form fields and CRM stages set up so each company's route is recorded.

Result: A report of signed customers by first source.

  3. A paid ads trial on one segment

A small ad test aimed at one segment, with a landing page and a stopping rule decided in advance.

Result: A written result for the trial, including what was spent and what came of it.

  4. A shared lead definition

A written description of a qualified lead agreed by sales and marketing.

Result: Both teams sign off on one definition.

  5. A cost-per-customer view

A comparison of cost per signed and live customer by source and segment.

Result: A table that lets you drop weak sources.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should we spend first?
On the segment where you already close deals. We read your pipeline, find where winners come from and put effort there before opening a new front.
Do we need all channels?
No. Choose the few that reach your buyers and can be tracked. A channel that cannot be traced to a signed customer is a guess, not a plan.
What do we do about competitors' ads?
Watch them, and do not copy them. Build your own message from what your customers said when they chose you, and check the platform's current rules on comparisons.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
