InsurTech startups · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a buyer finds when they ask what a policy covers and what it leaves out.

SEO for an InsurTech startup means writing pages that answer the questions people type before they buy cover, in plain language that matches your product. GullySales works on page structure, wording checked by your compliance officer, and the trust signals a cautious buyer looks for.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For InsurTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search for the worry, not the product”

A person types whether a parent with a pre-existing condition can be covered, or what happens when a claim is rejected. A page built around those worries meets the buyer where the doubt sits, which a page that only lists plan names does not.

  • “Aggregators already hold the broad terms”

Comparison sites fill the first results for general insurance words. A young company does better on narrower questions, a particular worker group or a specific rider, where a clear answer is rare.

  • “Insurance pages carry a trust test”

Searchers judge who is behind the page. Registration details, a named claims contact and a plain account of how a claim moves all belong on the page, and the exact disclosures depend on whether you act as an agent, broker or aggregator.

  • “Compliance and search pull in different directions”

A page written to rank can drift into claims about benefits that the rules do not allow. Every page needs the wording sheet beside it, and rules change, so check with your compliance officer.

What we do

What we deliver for InsurTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Question pages by buyer type

Pages for gig workers, parents, employers and two-wheeler owners, each built on the questions that group asks.

Result: Each buyer type has a page that answers its own questions.

  2. Claims explanation pages

A step-by-step page on documents, helpline and who helps during a hospital stay.

Result: A reader sees the claims route before paying.

  3. Technical fixes for app and web

Page speed, mobile layout, indexing and structured data checked against your site.

Result: A crawl report lists what was fixed and what remains.

  4. Disclosure block

A standard footer and page block for registration and partner details, drafted with your compliance officer.

Result: The same approved block appears on every page.

  5. Search tracking by question

A list of the questions you want to be found for, with where each page stands.

Result: You can see which questions your pages answer.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can SEO get us to the top for health insurance?
No ranking can be promised, and broad terms are held by large comparison sites. We aim at narrower questions where a clear answer is missing, and report where pages stand.
Do we need a blog?
A blog is useful only where it answers real buyer questions. Fewer, clearer pages on claims, exclusions and employer cover beat a stream of general posts.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
