LegalTech startups · Digital marketing

Spend where a firm or a founder is searching, and stop where nobody is.

Digital marketing for a LegalTech startup covers search, paid ads, email, LinkedIn and the site, all aimed at the lawyers, legal teams and founders who can use your product. GullySales works on choosing the channels per buyer, setting up tracking and reading results against paid trials.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For LegalTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Firms and founders need separate channels”

A litigation firm is reached by an introduction, a peer and LinkedIn. A founder needing a registration is reached by search and WhatsApp. One budget spread over both reaches neither well.

  • “Compliance dates make demand visible”

Annual filings and return dates push companies to search at set points in the year. Ads and pages timed to those windows reach people already looking, which a general campaign cannot.

  • “Clicks are cheap and trials are the measure”

A campaign judged on clicks fills reports with students and trainees. The figure that matters is how many firms with the right practice and size reached a trial and used it.

  • “Paid ads for advocates have limits”

Rules on how advocates are approached and advertised differ from ordinary business. If your campaign speaks about or for a lawyer's own practice, your counsel should see it first.

What we do

What we deliver for LegalTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan per buyer

Search, LinkedIn, email and referral work assigned to firms, in-house teams and online-service buyers.

Result: Each buyer has a channel and a reason for it.

  2. Search ads on compliance windows

Ads and a landing page for each filing or registration task, timed to its period.

Result: Each task has its own ad and page.

  3. Tracking from click to paid trial

Source and campaign recorded against trial start and payment.

Result: You can see cost against paid firms, not clicks.

  4. An email set for demonstrations and trials

Short emails for post-demo, first-session and quiet-trial moments.

Result: Every stage has a message ready.

  5. Counsel review of ad copy

A check by your lawyer on anything that touches advocates or legal outcomes.

Result: No ad goes live without that sign-off.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much should we spend on ads?
Set by what a paid firm is worth to you and what your sales team can handle. We start small, read the cost against paid trials and then decide, without a target figure from us.
Is LinkedIn advertising worth it?
For firm and in-house buyers it can reach the right job titles, but the cost is high. We test it against introductions and search before committing a large share.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
