Master franchise operators · Local SEO

Make every new outlet in your territory findable by the people who live near it.

Local SEO for a master franchise network means giving each outlet its own listing, address, reviews and local page, so nearby customers find the unit and not just the brand. The brand is new, so people search by area and need. GullySales sets up and maintains the listings across your outlets in a way that follows the brand book.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For master franchise operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A parent in Pune searches by need and area”

The brand name is unknown, so nobody types it. A parent types the activity and the locality. An outlet with a clear listing and a local page can appear in that search, while a brand site alone cannot.

  • “One weak outlet colours the whole brand”

Reviews sit under each outlet, but a customer reading a poor one in one suburb judges the brand across the territory. The operator needs to see every listing, not only the best-run ones.

  • “Listings opened by sub-franchisees drift from the brand”

When each owner makes a listing on their own, names, categories and photos differ. The operator holds the licence standard and needs one consistent method, approved by the licensor, for how an outlet appears.

  • “A new outlet is invisible until the listing is verified”

Opening day arrives and the shutter goes up, but the listing is still waiting for verification. Customers who search that morning find nothing. The listing has to be started before the lease starts.

What we do

What we deliver for master franchise operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An outlet listing set-up routine

A standard checklist for each new unit: name, address, hours, photos from the approved library and the correct business type.

Result: Every outlet appears in the same format, matching the brand book.

  2. A local page for each outlet

A page per unit with address, map, contact, what the outlet offers and a route to enquire, in the licensor's approved wording.

Result: A customer searching the locality can reach the page for the nearest unit.

  3. A review reply guide for outlet owners

Plain wording for answering praise and complaints in the brand's voice, with a rule for when the operator steps in.

Result: Owners reply in a consistent voice and serious complaints reach the operator.

  4. A territory view of all listings

One sheet showing every outlet's listing status, reviews and missing details.

Result: The operator sees which outlet needs attention without opening each profile.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Who should own the outlet listings, the operator or the sub-franchisee?
That is set by your licence and the sub-franchise agreement. A common arrangement keeps ownership with the operator and gives the owner access to reply. Agree it in writing with your adviser before the first opening.
Can we ask customers for reviews?
Ask in ways the platform allows, with no payment or gift in return. Check the platform's current rules, and ask your licensor whether the brand book says anything about review requests.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
