Master franchise operators · Search engine optimisation

Appear when an investor searches for a franchise they can open in their city.

SEO for a master franchise operator means making the brand's franchise pages findable by investors searching for opportunities in your territory, and its outlet pages findable by customers. Two audiences use the same site. GullySales organises the pages, headings and links so each audience finds its own route.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For master franchise operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Investors search by format and city, not by your brand name”

A new brand has no name recognition in India, so the investor types the business type and a city, such as a kids' activity franchise in Pune. Pages that name the format and the cities in the grant are the ones that can answer that search.

  • “Customer pages and investor pages fight on one domain”

If outlet pages and franchise pages share vague titles, a search engine cannot tell which serves whom. A customer lands on an investor page, an investor lands on a store locator, and both leave. Clear separation fixes the confusion.

  • “Licensor copy is not written for Indian searches”

The brand's global site describes the concept in the founder's own words. An Indian searcher uses different phrases for the same idea. Pages written from the licensor's text, in the approved terms, still need the local words added.

  • “Duplicate content with the licensor's site is a risk”

Copying the global franchise pages word for word gives a search engine two copies to choose between. The local pages need their own content on territory, support and outlets in India, within what the brand book allows.

What we do

What we deliver for master franchise operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A map of franchise and outlet search terms

A list of the phrases investors and customers use for your format, grouped by city and by purpose.

Result: Each page on the site has one clear job and one set of phrases.

  2. Franchise pages built around the licence chain

Pages that explain the structure, the territory and what the investor funds, with headings that match what investors ask.

Result: An investor searching for the format reaches a page that answers the first questions.

  3. Clean separation of investor and customer routes

Page titles, menus and internal links arranged so a customer never lands in the franchise sales route by mistake.

Result: The two audiences each see their own pages first.

  4. Technical tidy-up of the site

Page speed, mobile layout, titles, descriptions and links checked and corrected.

Result: The site passes the checks a search engine runs on every page.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will the licensor's global site help our rankings?
It may bring some recognition for the name, but it speaks to other markets. Your territory pages need their own content. We cannot promise any ranking, and we do not copy the licensor's text across.
Do we need a separate website for franchise sales?
Not always. One site with a clear split between investor pages and customer pages can work. The choice depends on the licensor's rules on domains and brand use, so confirm those first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
