Scrap recycling companies · Website

Build a site that tells a stores manager what you buy and how to reach you.

A website for a scrap yard is the page a seller or buyer reads to decide whether to call. GullySales builds a site that lists metals, shows the yard, explains the weighing and payment process and puts a working phone or WhatsApp number on every page.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For scrap recycling companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The visitor checks you before calling”

A purchase head given your name by a colleague opens your site on a phone. If the pages look unfinished or list no metals, the call may not happen. The site is a credibility check.

  • “A scrap site must work on a slow phone”

Sellers in industrial belts browse on a mobile connection from a store room. Heavy pages and tiny buttons lose them. A light, clear page with a tap-to-call button keeps them.

  • “Photographs prove the yard exists”

Stock images of recycling symbols tell the visitor nothing. Photographs of your weighbridge, sorted stacks and trucks tell a buyer that the yard is real and organised.

What we do

What we deliver for scrap recycling companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A clear home page

What you buy, where you lift, who you sell to and one way to call or message.

Result: A home page that answers what, where and how in one screen.

  2. Metal and service pages

Pages for each metal and for factory clearance, demolition and mill supply.

Result: A page for each metal and service you list.

  3. Process and documents page

How pickup, weighing, documents and payment work, written as your yard does it.

Result: A page a new seller can read before the first call.

  4. Contact paths

Tap-to-call, a WhatsApp button and a short enquiry form that asks for metal, quantity and location.

Result: Each enquiry arrives with the metal and quantity.

  5. Basic analytics

A count of visits, calls and form submissions by page.

Result: A report of which pages bring calls.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a new site or can you fix ours?
If your site is current and easy to edit, we improve it. If it cannot list metals clearly or work on a phone, we rebuild it. We look at it first.
Should the site mention our licences?
Only if you supply them and want them shown. We do not state compliance for you. Rules differ by state and material, so check with your own adviser before publishing anything on approvals.
Will the site show our buying rate?
That is your choice. Some yards leave it off because it goes stale. A call-or-message prompt for the day's rate keeps the page accurate.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
