Subscription businesses · WhatsApp marketing

Make WhatsApp the place where a member pauses, not where a request gets lost.

WhatsApp marketing for a subscription business is using the app for trial enquiries, reminders, plan changes and support in a controlled way. GullySales works on the message flows, the labels and the rules that let your team handle member requests without losing any.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For subscription businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Pause and skip requests vanish in the chat”

A member types skip tomorrow among twenty other messages. If one person reads the chat, the request is missed and the delivery goes out. A fixed format and a label for plan changes keep these requests from slipping.

  • “The business account suits the work better than a personal number”

A subscription handled on a personal phone ends when that person leaves or the phone fails. A business account with labels, quick replies and a catalogue of plans keeps the record with the business.

  • “Reminders are welcome only when they carry something”

A pre-renewal note, a menu for tomorrow or a payment link is useful. A forwarded offer is not. Members who receive useful messages keep the number saved, and those who receive noise mute it.

  • “Consent and platform rules apply to broadcasts”

Sending to a list of members who never agreed risks complaints and a blocked number. Broadcast and template rules change. Check the platform's current rules, and collect clear permission at sign-up.

What we do

What we deliver for subscription businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan catalogue and quick replies

Your plans, prices and the usual answers set as a catalogue and saved replies in a business account.

Result: The common questions are answered in one tap.

  2. A labelling scheme for member requests

Labels for new trial, paused, payment issue and cancelled, applied to each chat.

Result: The team can find every pause request in one view.

  3. Message templates for reminders

Renewal, delivery and payment messages written plainly and approved by the platform where needed.

Result: Reminders go out in a consistent voice.

  4. A consent step at sign-up

A clear opt-in line on the form and in the first message.

Result: Each member's permission is recorded.

  5. A hand-off rule between team members

Who answers which type of message, and what to do when someone is away.

Result: No chat is left without an owner.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we send offers to all our members?
Only to those who agreed to receive them, and within the platform's current rules. Useful reminders are safer than broadcast offers. We set up the opt-in and the templates.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
A small kitchen or studio can start with the business app. Larger lists and automated flows need the API through a provider. We look at your volume before suggesting either.
Will you answer our members on WhatsApp?
We build the flows and rules. Replies to members stay with your team unless agreed otherwise.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
