TravelTech startups · Social media

Turn reels and stories into bookings, not applause from people who will never travel.

Social media marketing for a TravelTech startup is the use of Instagram, YouTube and community groups to show real trips and move viewers into an enquiry. GullySales works on what is posted, how the enquiry is answered and how a booking is traced back to the post that started it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For TravelTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Likes come from dreamers and bookings come from planners”

A reel of a mountain sunrise earns saves from people with no leave. The viewer who books is the one who asks about dates. Content should invite that question by naming the batch, the group size and the starting city in the post itself.

  • “The direct message is the shop counter”

Most travel interest on Instagram ends in a direct message, and that is where the sale is won or lost. A reply that sends only a price list loses the conversation, while a reply that asks about the mood of the trip keeps it going.

  • “Real trips beat stock beauty”

Followers can tell a stock sunrise from a real group laughing in a wet jeep. Footage from actual departures, with the guide, the stay and the food shown honestly, makes the next traveller trust that the trip will match the post.

  • “A creator trip must be disclosed and priced in writing”

A regional creator may bring a good audience to a route, but a paid or hosted trip has to be marked as such, and the cost and deliverables agreed beforehand. Check the platform's current rules on partnership labels before any post goes up.

What we do

What we deliver for TravelTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan built around departures

A calendar that shows each upcoming trip, its open seats and the posts that introduce, prove and close it.

Result: The owner sees a post plan matched to the trips that still have seats.

  2. Reel and story formats for each trip type

Short formats for weekend packages, stays, workations and group tours, with a standard closing frame that asks for dates.

Result: Each reel ends with one clear next step.

  3. A direct message reply routine

A set of replies for price requests, date questions and group enquiries, each one asking something back.

Result: The person answering messages has a script for the common cases.

  4. Creator brief and disclosure note

A written brief for a travel creator covering the route, what must be shown, what must be disclosed and what the cost covers.

Result: A signed brief exists before any creator trip is confirmed.

  5. Post-to-booking tracking

A tag on every enquiry showing which post, story or creator brought it, followed through to the paid booking.

Result: Posts are ranked by bookings, not by likes.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Which platform should a travel startup start with?
Start where your buyers already ask questions. For leisure trips that is usually Instagram, with YouTube for longer trip films. For corporate buyers, a professional network and email suit better. We choose after reading your enquiry history.
Do we need to post every day?
Regularity matters less than having something worth saying about a real departure. A smaller number of posts tied to open seats serves a young company better than daily filler. We plan around trips, not around a posting quota.
Should we run paid promotion on reels?
Only on a trip with open seats and a reply routine ready. Paid reach sent to a slow inbox is wasted. We judge the spend by the bookings it records, and stop it where it records none.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
