FinTech startups · Digital marketing

Judge every channel by who completes verification, not by who clicks.

Digital marketing for a FinTech startup covers search, ads, social, email and WhatsApp used together to bring in verified customers. The measure that matters is the person who transacts. GullySales plans the channels, tracks them to that point and advises on where the spend should move.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For FinTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Cost per install hides the real cost”

An ad that brings cheap installs can bring nobody who finishes KYC. The report that stops at installs rewards the wrong channel and the board keeps asking why costs climb.

  • “Financial ads face stricter review”

Platforms treat money products carefully and their rules change, so check the platform's current rules. A rejected ad costs time and sometimes the account, which is why wording is settled before launch.

  • “Channels work in sequence”

A merchant may see a post, search the company name, read the trust page and then take a call. Counting only the last click gives credit to the wrong channel.

  • “A non-ad channel is the board's request”

When paid cost climbs, owners ask for another route. Referral from accountants, search and partner co-marketing take longer to build but do not charge per click.

What we do

What we deliver for FinTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan by buyer type

Which channels reach merchants, finance heads and partners, and what each is asked to do.

Result: A plan that gives every channel one job.

  2. Tracking from install to transaction

Setup that links ad source, sign-up stage and first payment in one view.

Result: A report showing verified customers by channel.

  3. Ad wording checked with compliance

A claims list and a review step before any financial ad is submitted.

Result: Ads that carry an approved line, not a hopeful one.

  4. A referral and partner channel

Material and routes for CAs, distributors and partner co-marketing.

Result: A channel that does not charge for every click.

  5. A spend review

A look at which channels brought verified customers and where spend should move.

Result: A recommendation grounded in your own record.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The searches that start a sign-up, and the page that must be ready for each.

collect upi payments for my shop
A merchant landing page with a sign-up that works on a phone and lists the documents before the first field.
corporate card for startup finance team
A finance head's page with the approval flow shown and a route to ask for a demo.
salary account for gig workers
A page naming the partner bank and what the account does and does not include, in the worker's language.
send money abroad for exporters
A remittance page stating which entity holds the licence and what documents an exporter keeps ready.
lending api for nbfc
A partner page with an integration summary and a route to the person who handles risk and compliance questions.

Who it is for

This is written for these FinTech startups.

  • Payment gateway and UPI collection startups for small merchants
  • Digital lending and credit-line startups working with an NBFC or bank partner
  • Accounting, invoicing and bill-payment tools for MSMEs
  • Expense, payout and corporate-card startups for finance teams
  • Wealth and investing app startups working under a licensed entity
  • Neobanking and salary-account startups for gig and blue-collar workers
  • Remittance and cross-border payment startups for exporters
  • Regtech and KYC infrastructure startups selling to banks

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You cannot yet track a visitor from click to first transaction, so spend would be judged by installs
  • The sign-up path fails on common phones, so paid visitors would be lost at the door

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How much should we spend on ads?
It depends on what a verified customer is worth to you, which only your own figures show. GullySales starts from that value and sets a test budget you can afford to lose.
Which channel works best for FinTech?
No channel wins everywhere. Merchant products lean on referral and field work, and finance-team products on search and LinkedIn. Your own tracking settles it.
Should we hire an agency or an in-house marketer?
Either can work. What matters is a person who owns the tracking and the claims check. GullySales can run the work or train your team on it.
Do financial ads need approval before they run?
Check the platform's current rules, because financial products face extra review and may need documents from your licensed partner. Prepare the ad wording and the landing page together and have compliance read both, so an ad is not stopped for a missing line.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
