Water testing laboratories · WhatsApp marketing

Let the sample booking happen in the chat where the buyer already is.

WhatsApp marketing for a water testing laboratory is the use of the app for enquiries, price lists, collection slots and report reminders. GullySales works on the business profile, the replies and the lists you message, under the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Environmental testing laboratories: show a real physical business scene illustrating Sampling requests and field schedules. Plan sampling rounds by client, site and matrix, assign field staff, and prepare the bottle sets and preservatives needed for each visit before the vehicle leaves.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For water testing laboratories

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry starts in a chat”

A resident or plant manager sends the first message on WhatsApp because it is faster than a form. A business account with a catalogue of packages and saved replies answers properly instead of with a number.

  • “Consent decides who you may message”

A past client who ordered a report is not automatically someone to send promotions to. Reminders for a retest need the client's agreement, and every message needs a way to opt out. Check the platform's current rules.

  • “The report file needs a human cover note”

A PDF dropped into a chat looks like spam. A short message that names the sample, the date and the next step makes it a professional delivery and starts the retest conversation.

What we do

What we deliver for water testing laboratories.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile with packages

Catalogue entries for each test package with what it covers and how the sample is collected.

Result: A buyer sees the menu inside the chat.

  2. Saved replies for common queries

Answers for rate queries, collection steps, accreditation and report format.

Result: The team replies the same way each time.

  3. A booking message flow

Questions that collect address, water type, purpose and slot, ending in a confirmation.

Result: The booking record is complete before the call.

  4. Consent-based lists for reminders

Clients who agreed to retest reminders, with the last report date and parameters.

Result: Reminders go only to those who asked for them.

  5. A report delivery message

A cover note that names the sample, attaches the report and offers the next test date.

Result: Delivery starts the next conversation.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The booking chat needs five messages written in advance.

Reply to a rate query
Send the package contents and ask the purpose. The person started the chat, so the number can be saved against the enquiry.
Sample bottle instructions
The filling steps as a short message with a photo of the right bottle. A wrongly filled bottle gives a report nobody trusts.
Collection confirmation
Address, sampling point and the name of the collector who will arrive, so the gate knows who to expect.
Report delivery
The file with a plain cover note naming the package it covers and the next step. Explanations of results wait for a call.
Retest reminder to opted-in clients
A message listing the last parameters and asking if the plant wants the same package. Sent only to clients who agreed to reminders.

Who it is for

This is written for these water testing laboratories.

  • Drinking water testing for households and housing societies
  • Testing for packaged drinking water and mineral water plants
  • Borewell and groundwater testing for farms and builders
  • Hotel, hospital and school drinking water compliance testing
  • Industrial effluent and boiler water testing laboratories
  • Swimming pool and cooling tower water testing
  • Construction water testing for concrete and curing
  • NABL-accredited labs and non-accredited local labs

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Nobody watches the chat during working hours, so a booking message would sit unread.
  • Your contact list was bought or copied from directories, and WhatsApp messages to it would lack the person's consent.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. The Business app with a catalogue and saved replies covers a small lab. The API suits larger volumes and automated reminders. Check the platform's current rules before sending bulk messages.
Can we message societies we have not served?
Cold bulk messages risk complaints and a blocked number. Introduce the lab through a referrer, a call or a printed pack first, and message those who respond. Follow the platform's current rules.
Can we send reports over WhatsApp?
Send the file only to the person who ordered the test, after confirming the number. A report carries a site's address and water data, so a wrong recipient is a breach of trust. Keep the explaining for a call.
What do we do when a client sends a photo of a dirty tap?
Reply asking for the address and the water source, and offer the right package. Do not diagnose a cause from a photo; the lab's report settles that. Attach the photo to the enquiry so the collector sees it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
